New Immigration Form STM.10 Affidavit of Family Relationship to Thai National

Given the fact that nobody in his right mind is reading all this avalanche of bureaucratic manure out of government offices all over the land it seems that it just serves to explain the complete overstaffing of all these offices while hiding an inferiority complex second to none.

In all fairness, this has nothing to do with thorough immigration procedures and clearly reflects their attitude, that if Thais cheat from early mornings to late evenings, it does NOT automatically suggest that non-Thais are doing the same.

Wondering when this madness of printed paper flood will come to a screeching halt ........

Indeed, this years submission, 2 sets of documents each over 1cm thick.

The only parts they really need are the letter from the bank plus statement and the document from the amphur showing we're still married, that and the application form, everything else is pretty much superfluous.

I've changed from marriage to DTV. I only have to apply every 5 years, and I don't have to keep any money in Thailand, but I do have to leave every 6 months or go through the rigmarole of applying for a 6-month extension. I have to complete a TM30 and one 90-day report, but in reality, many people on a DTV do not bother with either, as they leave every six months and do not have any dealings with immigration.

Which DTV option did you use.

Workcation. I have some property that I manage in the UK

Interesting. I own 4 rentals in Oz.

All on the books. Never thought that DTV would be an option on that basis.

Can also do the soft power "medical" A DTV would be nice for mobility issues as time goes by.

Although some people have obtained a DTV as self-employed/sole traders, it doesn't always work, so I set up an LTD company. As the CEO, I wrote myself a letter permitting me to carry out my work remotely in Thailand. The company registration costs £54 in the UK, so it's not a big deal. I'm considering relocating to Udon Thani, so a border bounce every 6 months will be easy from there.

Very easy. Hopefully there will not be requirement to stay overnight.

That is looking increasingly likely for border bounces, but it wouldn't bother me too much.

We were told and supplied just a signed copy of their ID card.

Just getting my ducks in a row for my annual marriage visa extension shortly.

Has anybody information about the new stm-10 form? Do you need a witness with you or do you just need a witness to sign a copy of their ID card? Or does CW not really bother with it?

There were more forms to fill in this year at Jomtien I'm pretty sure that this was one of them  even the immigration officer commented that there are more forms   this was after the rain forest in duplicate was submitted and the fee paid....at this point quite frankly I was in autopilot and just wanted to get the hell out of there.

"raIn forest in duplicate"

Luv it.🙃🙃
