The 7-11 that's within 200 meters of my Daughters high school has higher prices on small snacks versus the 7-11 6k further down the road on the way home.....Chips & other packaged items seem the same....They also carry more of the larger sized snack items....Eliminating some choices.....

I live in the West now, and we don't have many 7/11 stores in our city. Even Sizzlers closed all its stores in 2020. Why are they still around in Thailand?

Is the price of an item in one 7/11 the same in all 7/11's  in Pattaya or does each shop have its own pricing system?

They are all different & what they stock is different

They are building more all the time. Why? Because they are so GOOD.

They are mostly the same,  in the whole country.

Exceptions do exist: Phuket and the tourist islands are more expensive,  7/11 inside Moh Chit bus terminal or airports are more expensive.

Even a 7/11 inside a condo, so not in a public area,  still has the same prices.

Selection of products varies a lot: no sugarless green tea in Issaan, no macadamias where there are no farang, no energy drinks in a hospital...

I have noticed a trend here in Chiang Mai of opening HUGE new 7-Elevens all around town! Several even have parking lots!  One of them downtown even has parking space for 6 cars!

Minimum wage killed them in the west, same with fast food.

All gone soon!

Each 7/11 is a franchise shop in its own right. But having said that, prices will nearly always be the same but stock will vary from shop to shop.

There are a couple of 7-11 stores near my home in Australia. Their prices are often double what a supermarket charges for many items so I rarely visit them. 7-11 stores in Bangkok seem to have prices similar to supermarkets such as BigC. They are convenient and cheap and I almost daily buy stuff from the one on the ground floor of our condo building.

Logic tells me yes. For example, a prepacked fresh cheese and ham sandwich will have the same barcode at check out whether in Pattaya, Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai or Khon Kaen.

I may be wrong.

If you're buying in bulk it might be worth it. A lot of 7/11 stuff has a shelf life longer than U238.

Maybe that's because they can still make a profit here.

Really ?

That surprises me given the parent company shut the whole shooting match down in 2020.

Parking space for dozens of cars.

All Pattaya 7eleven shops sell small can Chang 39baht.

I hope that helps 😂

The 7/11 in Suvarnabhumi airport just as you walk down the ramp to the ARL station is a lot more expensive.

All airport 7-Eleven's are the same, everything is more expensive.

Firstly I am asking the question purely out of interest, secondly I have four 7/11's  within a quarter of a mile from where I live. If it makes a sad person like you feel a bit superior for a few seconds, I would say that yours is a great comment and have a nice day

If the 7-11 pricing is your problem then maybe you need to get a life.
