Covid-19's XEC Variant Spreads Like Wildfire, Says Thai Health Ministry

And I don't feel the slightest bit worried. I said it from the very beginning it all comes down to your immune system, your diet, your lifestyle, and your health. If you have a healthy strong body, it fights it off like cold or flu and the symptoms are fairly mild, especially now that the virus has continued to weaken.

This applies even more so if you're not a heavy drinker and if you're a non-smoker.

How someone could be so stupid to take anything "covid-related" seriously is just beyond imagination 🙃

Where did you plagiarize that from, Id like to check the sources cited

Just had 3-4 days of coughing, sneezing and  nose running, mostly gone now. Just like a cold except for the tiredness (slept a good part of the first day of having symptoms and much of the day before symptoms appeared) and loss of appetite. So more likely COVID than a cold? No idea which variant (scariant?), I did read that it was expected that the impact of the virus would lessen both with successive infections and over time. If this was COVID then it was certainly more mild than the first time I caught this, not life threatening (in my case at least), just a minor inconvenience. So outside of "at risk" groups, it seems that this "wave" may be no biggie.

So where are these flu deaths being reported now? If, by past records, there should have been at least a 1000, meaning that 27 now is a massive result.

In the US, they started being reported as "flu deaths" again when hospitals quit getting that fat bonus for treating Covid.

Paracetamol is also out of patent. It expired in 2007. Also the idea of 'popping a daily aspirin' to keep the blood thin is well out of date as well.

Asprin is not out of date in Australia when its emergency heart times, but there are other fancy meds for ongoing blood thinning.

Who cares if Paracetamol is out of patent? it works, but beware of Ibuprofen which had bad publicity some years back but seems to have faded.

Let the conspiracy theorists deny again the reality of Covid. They were in the majority of temporary Australians according to the vax/nonvax death statistics.    Just one back then in great agony begged on her hospital bed for people to get vax, then sadly died, like all the other non vax taking up bed spaces.

The majority of the deaths, around 80%, have tragically been among senior citizens, highlighting the virus's dangerous impact on the elderly, classified under the "608 group."

Despite the swift transmission, the strain, a descendant of Omicron, is noted for its relatively mild severity. However, its rapid spread raises significant concerns, especially with the variant having already impacted children as well.

On any given day, a bunch of old people will be shuffling off their mortal coil.  Seems pretty reasonable that a lot of them will have Covid if it's going around like that.  A certain percentage will also have eaten eggs for breakfast.

The question is how many died with Covid and how many died as a result of having Covid?

I'd bet that more old people died after eating eggs today...

That is absolutely not happening. All they are suggesting, after stressing the mild symptoms, is to take care for the sake of those in vulnerable groups who make up the vast majority of serious cases.

A word of testimony delivered to the enquiry now being held in NZ well worth a read

Same as before when "they" effectively closed the world down during their control experiment ....

I see no plagiarizing there at all. @spidermike007 is simply expressing a commonly held believe and one which I completely agree with.

Only if you want to be, it's a private hospital and you can pay or have insurance. If it's a Govt Hospital they'll give you a packet of paracetamol and tell you to go home and rest.

I would like to advise everyone that Paracetamol is a poison for the liver. Don't take it, ever.

Thank you.

Do you issue the same warning when it comes to alcohol?

Whether you agree with anyhting "he" says or not, he is a notorious plagiarist. I was just looking for a source.

Explain why not. It's truly not the flu or a common cold as you all believe. Read the article, spreading 7 times faster than the flu. Use some common sense and protect yourself properly instead of being an ostriych and burying your head to avoid what's actually happening. Ignoring the facts just means folks don't care about anyone but themselves....

Please get the new COVID-19 booster-not for the usual reasons, but because the batteries powering the microchips from your initial vaccine shots are running low. Without the booster, you risk losing access to premium surveillance features, like spontaneous Bluetooth connectivity and the ability to know when your neighbor is microwaving popcorn.

Unfortunately, I can’t provide a link to this vital information. The warning comes directly from the chips. If you didn’t receive the low-battery alert it’s probably because your chip’s batteries are already depleted.

Ignorance to facts......

Yes, but Paracetamol is seen as a medicine, alcohol everyone knows is toxic, specially for the liver. Alcohol can only be processed in the liver.

When will the fearmongering end .... in Thailand?

Excuse me. I've been saying since this virus "escaped" from the Wuhan Lab as with many others on here, that influenza, the common cold and SARS-CoV-2 are distinctly different viruses. They do, however, have a commonality of symptoms.

If its mild symtoms , increase the ginger , garlic intake , simple , i caught influenza in aus 2 months back , completly <deleted> me for a week , common flu more dangerous than covid nowadays .
cheers SS

My sister in the UK in her 80s goes every year for a Covid vaccination. The local pharmacy does them as well as her GP. This anti vax thing is an American thing that is unknown in Britain. I think it's because the NHS provides free vaccination to the whole population that only religious extremists and some other freaks/hippies object to vaccinations.

The NHS is pushing the shingles vaccination like mad at the moment. I assume on the basis is it better and cheaper to vaccinate rather than treat this particularly nasty disease later.

totally agree. thing is people are as pushy against vaccination as others are against trump. if people could just put up and shut up. think what you want just dont push it on others. some things just get old and boring really quick

Some people are "pushy" FOR vaccination.  Nothing wrong with that if choosing for themselves and not others.

Independent statistical evidence seems to suggest the Covid vaccines are not very effective at doing what vaccines are supposed to do.

But on the other hand they do catastrophic harm to only a very small percentage of the vaccinated.  Before you make your choice, you may wish to get an idea of what it can be like to be amongst that very small percentage:  https://followthesilenced.com/download-film/

I wonder if people think if they will be one of the small percentage just before they light up a cigarette, drive fast or make a risky overtake, pop down to the shops on the motor bike without a crash helmet, travel in a Thai bus.

i find the anti-vaccers are pushier than the vaccers... generally IMHO... and i just got vaccinated on friday and my shoulder is still hurting... but with my lung condition if i am not safe i will surely be sorry... never got covid yet and if i do it might easily kill me...
