Get a life…….on the dementia Donnie fantasy of making IPhones in America perhaps he’s just trolling even Donnie the dullard knows that’s just not viable.

If an iPhone is manufactured in the US from parts made in the US, it would cost $ 3700

Don't worry.  The Republicans will lose in the Congressional mid-terms, and at this rate AOC or Gavin Newsom will be your next president in 2028.  Different children; different prams (baby buggies in American English).  The same stinky mess when you pick the baby up 💩

Yeah, I know I know.  DJT makes you go crazy.  Your not the only one.  But here's reality:  both parties work for the benefit of their donors and special interests who fund them.  As George Carlin aptly stated, "It's A Big Club And You Ain't In It!"  They collectively urinate on the smiling, upturned faces of the working class and what use to be the middle class - whether they be waving MAGA red or LGBT+100 rainbow flags - before hitting them right between the eyes with the "money shot" (if you don't understand that vernacular, there is no money in a "money-shot," well, unless you are Bonnie Blue).  The only groups getting paid are the mega-rich regardless of their party affiliation, and those who come to America through the back-door which gets propped open every time the Democrats rule the roost.  As the years go by, what's left of the middle class and working class is more likely to be found living rough on the streets sans government assistance or medical care.

One thing for sure - Trump is not an economist and he quite obviously doesn't have competent economists in his administration.
This tariff war will blow-back on the US economy (monetary and fiscal).  And who will get screwed?  Average Americans. Which is why there will be shake ups in the next elections, not that it will make any difference, it won't.
Just like the Democrats did with Biden's cognitive mess, the Republicans will do with the economy:  "Don't believe your eyes!!! Joe's as sharp as a tack and the US economy under DJT is the biggest and bestest and most beautiful economy ever."

Blah blah blah.

ROTFLMAO

Another infamous prediction.  Haven’t learned your lesson yet, have you?

Newsom or AOC as the next POTUS.

Not enough grease in Newsom’s hair to make that stick.

One look at his fire management skills and the  “campers” or AOC’s hooker central is all the evidence needed that leftists are the most delusional species on earth.

Does it flip?

How unfortunate you can afford a IPhone.

Old age pension not keeping up with inflation?

Blue light specials can be beneficial.

Maybe your most salient contribution to AN.  You should make it the 'About me' quote in your profile.

Unfortunately Trump has zero understanding of globalization, and the inherent ecosystems within the global manufacturing systems. It is virtually impossible to make an iPhone in the US without it costing an absolute fortune. These jobs that Trump keeps referring to will not return to the US, the US will never "become great again", and Trump is only diminishing the nation with his sheer stupidity and ignorance.

Donald Trump.

Making America less relevant, less dependable, less trusted, and more hated by the day.

Here's reality... I can buy a second hand iPhone from 2018 that still works perfectly for a couple of thousand baht. Notably, it supports eSIM. Something that the majority of cheap Android phones fail to do.

Locking down the system makes sense. You are welcome to buy cheap Android phones that look high spec at first glance, but look closely and you begin to see the glaring omissions in comparison.

eSims can be bought separately, no?

any other compelling reason to have the iphone over an android?

I've never owned an iphone or felt like I needed to.

also, since you have a 2018 model, you're missing the entire point of the iPhone. it is a status symbol. and a 2018 shows maybe even lower status than a modern Chinese android. maybe you dont care about status, but does the 2018 iPhone really have the up to date stuff that's on a new android? fingerprinting? face recognition? you can't even use the bank apps without these features.
