The questions is, what is fun, and what do give meaning?

 

Had alot of fun when younger, but now,? I do things I enjoy, comfort me, gives me pleasure, but fun? 

 

Motorbiking used to be fun, skiing used to be fun, or any other activity, not anymore. Gives me pleasure and focus, but fun? Nope

 

Lifting weights and exercises gives me focus and makes me feel good, and be there for someone, helping someone, gives meaning to life.

The more opinions you express, the more people hate you. 

 

What gives you purpose? You work hard all your life, raise your family, good times, bad times, you weather through it all. You had purpose.

 

Now, oh I know I'll sell everything and move to Thailand, then I'll be happy. I suppose if you're an economic refugee coming to Thailand means you can put a roof over your head and feed yourself on your meager wages. That's a win.

I’m aware of the OP, and his negative character, but still negative emotions is abused, and seems whatever someone post there is some fw who just gives negative emotions because of previous history.

Not only the emotions, more the negativity in total, and it prevents people to actually post things that matters, especially about Asia and sharing daily life which was why we came here in the first place.

Many people who don't believe in an afterlife act hospitable to others and don't break any laws. Most who believe are worried what might happen to their souls so act accordingly, being as good as they can in an unforgiving world, doing what they can to get by and hoping it is enough. Some are hypocrites and say they're believers and live like they don't care. If some didn't believe, they might then do whatever they wanted , hurting others with no conscience like some do anyway who don't care. Luckily for the world, there are more believers than not, with fear keeping many in line.

I truly do not believe religion changes anything, humans nature are good and bad, and we just find enough reasons to justify cruelty and crimes to comfort ourself. 

 

Even religion justifies gruesome actions.
