Is "Putinization" a more accurate way to describe what Trump is doing to America?

Featured Replies

There have been so many ways and words to try to describe the absolute FACT that the Trump/Maga regime 2.0 is some kind of flavor of extremely corrupt anti-democratic authoritarianism.

Has Garry Kasparov come up with the best fitting word yet?

Ever since the election, I've had this persistent mental hitchhiker. It won't get out of my head, and frankly, it's starting to smell a bit like stale campaign promise.

How would Donald Trump deal with Thainess?

Yeah.

I consider him a traitor.

But really these are different topics.

Trump's perverted alliance with Putin vs. Trump's attempt to be the American equivalent of Putin in his own regime.

Your opinion isn't fact. Just more hysteria.

Jan 2029 will be glorious.

Just because Trump is doing things "differently", it doesn't mean everything about the old way of doing things was good and everything about the new way of doing things is bad.

Maybe the Cold War and hostilities with Russia was a bad idea, or maybe it was needed at the time but that gig is up.

You prefer the "good ol' days" , where there was a constant threat of nuclear war with Russia, right?

And the beers were colder, and the chicks in Pattaya weren't as fat. Those were the days, man!

Surprised they aren't already planning to connect Vance to Hitler and Stalin.

I notice the attack on Tesla seems to have quieted down.  Guess they woke up and realized they were probably vandalizing a fellow lefty who bought to fight climate change.

Are you serious?  European governments can tell you. They are working together to deal with the betrayal.

Well if its so obvious, you tell us. How has the US utterly betrayed Europe? By asking them to assist in defending themselves?

Before Trump the US and Europe were suffering from a co$tly Zelen$ky addiction.

Now it's only Europe that needs a solid rehab.

The good old days where you could go to Thailand and pay the locals pennies to satisfy your own needs and wants.

There is a clear fear and submissiveness to the dear leader a la Putin. How far Trump tries to take it remains to be seen .. but the fact that no one, or few, on his side speak about his crypto coin, the plane, the bypassing of laws on aspects of immigration, etc , doesn't auger well.

But as of now he is no where near the Putin level of domination over his fellow men.

Not sure he's got the wherewithal or smarts or focus to pull it off.

Putin uses nuclear threats to neuter weak minded westerners.

So like Trump you appear to blame Ukraine for this. You know this was where Russia invaded Ukraine (starting in 2014).

And who stirred it up to this level, Hillary Clinton with her deplorables rhetoric and paid for fake Russia collusion Steele dossier and pushed on the people nonstop by the lying Dem backing lamestream media.

Have you noticed?

They are still using attacks on Harris and Biden as their excuse for all their failures that have resulted from Musk and Krasnov's actions in the first 150 days.
Nothing has changed. Blame the other guy.

Breaking news!

Trump says Putin is going absolutely crazy!

He says ... I don't know what the hell happened to Putin. LOL !!

With Trump, there are so many plot twists. Good luck trying to keep up with what he's doing or why he's doing it.

He's 15 moves ahead of you.
