What does homicide have to do with it ?

Those states with highest Homocides, is the same states with most guns.

And ? How is that relevant.

Also who has controlled those states politically for decades.

I wasn't the one who brought it up, I'm just replying to you.

Who do you think have more unregistered guns of Usa and Canada?

When I saw the headline " Trump wants Canada to pay for his Golden Dome", I thought to myself "does that mean he wants a new wig?"

😀

If you look at statistics, red states have higher homocide stats.

If Canada joining Eu, is that a good reason for Usa to invade?

if a member of EU is attacked, doesnt the rest of EU need to step in?

Trump is not normal. Talk of making Canada the 51st state is sheer insanity.

Asking for a friend!

I know many Americans think Putin had right to clean up his backyards, including Trump and Hegseth

Is this fake news / propaganda, or is China really planning to go after Australia?

Point is ... there are disadvantages to being a small country and advantage to joining up with larger countries. Sooner or later, smaller countries can get gobbled up.

Almost All Eu members are now  Nato allied. Austria, Irland and Malta are not, but an attack on them is unlikely to not engage EU and Nato

Would be stupid to believe they are not.

unlikely to not engage, so double negative = positive?

This spectacularly ignorant Goombah needs to stop with the Canada rhetoric, it has already resulted in billions of dollars in lost tourism and will eventually result in the great diminishment of the US as a world power.

He is alienating a close friend and ally, in addition to close friends and allies all over the world, with his hateful, divisive, and Incredibly ignorant slogans and policy.

You actually think Canadian leaders make decisions based on watching mainstream media?

They actually have conversations with the guy don't you know? They all now who they guy is mainly by his actions over the years and interactions with their heads of state and diplomats. They think he's a joke and a loose cannon wielding too much power with very little knowledge. He takes a lot of cues from his so called "cabinet"  and those people have some really strange ideas about how the USA should get along in the Global community

It doesn't take anyone with a good head on their shoulders to understand just how ill-informed, sophomoric and under educated Trump is.

The notion that the entirety of Canada could be state is completely unrealistic, ludicrous. I will never happen. It is next to impossible.

It's all hot air and the MAGA group Trump Fan boys just eat up his simple minded BS and ideas.

Don't know anyone in the US, but my Canadian cousin definitely has an unregistered hand gun.

Claims he brought it back from WW2, and suggested we go to the local gravel pit for a bit of target practice.

I asked about the law, and he said nobody cares.

Canada dont have thise srict rules, and checked with wiki which said 10million unregistered weapons primary hunting guns. When I grew up I could buy a shot gun unregistered in Norway at 16.

Usa have estimated 400 000 unregistered weapons.

Still there is far away from 120 guns pr 100 in Usa and 35 guns pr 100 in Canada totally.

Guns is not the problem, it is the violent culture that differs Usa and Canada.

And again, red states tops the statistics

Uniting USA and Canada is really the only option.

Canada doesn't have to be part of the US to be united.

That's true for every country in The alliance, so thanks to Trump, we waiting money on speed to show we do something in panick.

I hope to get completely off the hook from Usa.

Buy chineese jets if we have to (joke, sarcasm)

Europeans afraid Trump will turn off our jets now, if we do not follow his orders.

With heightened tensions between Europe and the United States over NATO and Ukraine, the myth of an F-35 “kill switch”, which would supposedly allow the Pentagon to disable foreign-operated F-35s, is fueling speculation and debate

https://theaviationist.com/2025/03/10/f-35-kill-switch-myth/

It's not so much a kill switch that I'm worried about, but future maintenance could be an issue.

Don't make yourself dependent on an unreliable partner.

The good thing, it is not only Usa who produces the F-35, even Norway contributes with technology, parts and weapon systems, as well financially contributing.

Unbelievable some believe Donald can do whatever he wants and do not need allies. Without good old friends and allies, Us is nothing, especially after outsourcing everything of value  to Asia

AI

Nine countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey, Canada, Denmark, Norway, and Australia, contribute to the F-35 program with parts. Specifically, Italy and the Netherlands contribute financially, with Italy providing $1 billion and the Netherlands providing $800 million, according to Wikipedia. Alenia Aeronautica is also mentioned as a producer of F-35 wings for these nine partners.
