Why do so many posters continually diss other posters?

But @Yagoda is a great guy!

I don't think I've ever heard him pontificating on fine wine, foodie restaurants, museums or any other pretentious elitist nonsense.

And @Harrisfan seems like a decent enough bloke, but hasn't been posting long enough for me to form any solid view.

Because we are not lefties

  • Ok, let´s sort it out, right? Looking down on people living in Pattaya: I think that is wrong. What most posters here say is bad things about the city, all the bad elements and the rising crimina

I see this in the forums all the time .........

Posters looking down on guys living in Pattaya, elderly, guys living on a pension, living in a rented condo, supporting a woman and her family, men spending time in bars, or smoking weed/tobacco, etc.

Why not just enjoy your own life and stop looking for fault or judging other people?

Social media, which is where you are as you read this, is an equaliser..........the physically strong and aggressive have no advantage.

It's a wonderful place for people to call out the sort of people they disapprove of/dislike without getting punched in the face.

That's what it was made for.

🙂

So to summarize the lowliest of all expats would be an elderly drunk living on a pension in a rented condo in Pattaya.

why-do-so-many-posters-continually-diss-other-posters :

like the old adage :   It sells newspapers !

it's the sparring and conflicts that catch the members' attention , and so obviously

not discouraged by the usual forums.

haha, this is turning into a trump thread?

I think even in the days of Jesus, Elvis, the Beatles and Muhammad Ali, not every single thing was reduced to one person.

It's really extraordinary how magnetic and compelling Trump is as a pro or con, that everything ends up about him. Maybe the only other person who managed this was Adolf Hitler, but of course I was not alive then. I can imagine he's the only one who possibly topped Trump in this regard.

Charlie Chaplin made a movie about Hitler, maybe Sasha Baron-Cohen will make one about Trump.

I was a leftie and proud of it. Now the left is an insane ideology catering to radical, activist minorities. No wonder the Dems are completely finished in the US and Trump had a massive victory. As is Starmer in the UK he's completely fkd. The left abandoned their true base decades ago.

Are the words lie - stalker - flamers - traitors really the only ones available in the MAGA vocabulary?

Maybe. Who will play Biden. If only Harpo from the Three Stooges was sill around. He'd do a fantastic Biden.

Sadly, it is more likely down to you admitting to being a Brit rather than a couple of disgruntled Americans taking umbrage at you accusing them of lacking a sense of humour.

More like they built a house in Isaan for their 22 year old 'girlfriend' and the family moved in, her restaurant failed, the chilli growing failed and the fish farm failed, so back to crappy Patters to find another one who is different 😅

No regular Americans have words like man and woman too. Reality. I dont think that traitor is a word we use except when there are traitors like the dude selling secrets to a foreign country

No sure about this. I feel very secure about things like men shouldn't be able to compete in women's sports.

Why you guys bring up this regular? Nobody have argued that men should compete against women on this forum? If so please show me.

You guys continue spinning a dead coin

I haven't read all the million posts on here. So let's say no one has argued that men should compete against women.

But neither has anyone who is against Trump acknowledged it as something positive.

Point is to be 100% against any leader starts to seem crazy at some point. There's gotta be a coupla 2-3 issues you agree with, no? People with some integrity should acknowledge it at some point.

Ah!!!!!!!! The Democratic Party and their supporters represented on here have never said Trump is correct in banning men from women's sports. Not that I can remember as such they must think it's ok. I'll be happy to be corrected if anyone can show the usual suspects on here that have Trump living rent free in their heads have acknowledged this as a good thing.

Trump just copy Russia, thailand, China

And trow out ideas randomly and spontaneously even from watching movies, especially soap opera and fox debates.

I have said several times, latest today, there is things I agree with Trump, it stops with how he adresse his messages, and how he execute the orders without the law and democratic tools helping him. His work is impulse and damaging to Usa, damaging relationships with allies.

China have  tradewar against Australia, and Norway was affected for years after giving Nobel Price to a Chineese dissident

In 2010, China's response to the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo included diplomatic and economic sanctions against Norway. The Chinese government froze political and economic relations, imposed import restrictions on certain products like fish, and limited diplomatic interaction as a consequence of the prize, according to a study by the Chr. Michelsen Institute.

Trumps impulsive acting

The reporting is pretty clear: Trump doesn't read briefings, on politics or anything else. He doesn't appear to have absorbed the basics of public policy, whether on health care or national security or even issues, like trade, that he cares about. Instead, he seems to pick up fragments of information in conversation or, more often, from cable television. Often, it's partisan talking points, which isn't surprising since much of what airs on Fox News, CNN and MSNBC consists of partisan talking points

Mostly it's people projecting their own problems onto others or trying to compensate for their own shortcomings, trying to make themselves feel superior by putting others down.  There's a lot of "rage therapy" to be had online.

For some reason, Thailand attracts oddballs, and they just love to take any opportunity they can to show that they're "more Thai than you" or the one "good farang" around.  being in Thailand seems to bring out a lot of insecurities in some.

What I find very interesting is how so many people appear to be wealthy and successful, yet still carry around so much resentment and prejudice.  It's really a wonder that with all their success they're still lacking in so many areas and still want to lash out at others.

Well maybe keeps its because they lack a sense of Humour its easier posting an emojis.

There are a few in particular. They always make it personal. @Harrisfan and @Yagoda are two examples of the worst of this forum.

Many of us can discuss politics without necessarily hating people for the choices that they make. Yes I do hate Trump, yes I have zero respect for the man, but I understand why people voted for him, and I respect Trump supporters as fellow human beings, and there's no reason to make this personal, yet some feel the need to descend to the same level as their master.

I truly believe that the greatest act of patriotism is to criticize Trump, his astonishing ignorance, and his willingness to make America very irrelevant.

you forgot to mention the russian infiltrated in the forum @frank83628 and the one called @dinsdale thus agree with the 4 of them, they do make everything personal and when one disagree with them then the option is to refer to anybody as a leftist but they think they are smarter than anybody else
