Why would it be a good idea to let people from there continue traveling to the US? 

 

Here are the other countries that have travel bans: Afghanistan, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. 

 

Which of these countries do you think we should open our borders to?

A country's leader can either appease the left (like the UK does) and accept the risk to it's citizens  by allowing people in from  from these trouble zones. 

 

Or they can introduce measures to reduce the risk to it's citizens, and face the wrath of the left. 

 

I would prefer my country's leader to do the latter. Unfortunately I'm from the UK.

As long as judges refuse to allow the State Department to deport people in the country illegally, it makes no sense to let more people from these countries in.
