How it works: Download the app, browse by cuisine or venue type, book your preferred deal, and present confirmation at the restaurant. Many deals include bonus perks like complimentary drinks.

How to use it:

  • Download the app (or visit the website).

  • Browse restaurant options by type (rooftop dinner, sushi, buffet).

  • Book and prepay, or choose pay-on-site.

How it works: Enter your departure and destination points, compare available options by price and duration, book your preferred choice, and receive digital tickets via email or app.

How to use it:

  • Open the app or website.

Cheap flights !

I would also suggest either THE Skytrains app, or the BTS Skytrain app for BKK. Perhaps Grab for taxis as well.

Never heard of #1 & 2, never used 3.

Gmap is only app I need for TH.

Eatigo is what I use for 50% off many good restaurants, including 5 star hotels buffets etc.

Hardly, by the time you add the extras it's usually about the same as simply book Thai Airways - all inclusive but no faffing around

As for apps, as suggested above you need little more than Goggle Maps

Impossible to not know Line and Whatsapp in this day and age..so a falsehood on your part.

Understand the BOLT part as you are obviously up country.

LINE is close to unknown in the west as well as BOLT.
I thought this thread does not direct to expats/long term stay?

False on your part.

What does one need them for ?

I live here and have never heard of them !

Line unheard of in the west, but essential in Thailand.

If I were asked for 3 essential apps, I would go with EATIGO for food discounts (Hungry Hub basically unusable), BOLT (IMO superior to Grab for transportation) and TICKETtoATTRACTION for discounts on sightseeing.

I woulda thought those two would make the "must need list" rather than the random 3 listed.

Because I have a checked bag and I like to book my seat.
