I see you also have trouble reading. The poster said many. I simply asked for proof that many were disappearing. I also stated that it wasn't about this one particular case.

Proof that MANY are disappearing please or your comment is a mute point as well.

We don't know because there are no hearings, just hate filled accusations.

What a difference in Attorney General’s

Barr vs Bondi.

The left is trying to take her out now. They can't stand strong, smart women.

Fortunately, everyone knows the left are all liars now,

I don't know how old you are, but assimilation was not a myth until after the Hart-Celler Act was passed.

Born 1982. Yes that's because we were dealing with white Europeans before then. Show me an English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, German, French, Swedish, Italian etc... and within a generation I'll show an American.

I was born in '57, and when I was a kid, the Mexicans were Americans within a generation. I went to a grade school that was about 80% Mexican Americans, and no one spoke Spanish in class.

So no proof of anything. Got it. Move along now.

So you approve of hiding documentation and deporting people without constitutionally mandated due process? Just a "trust me" from a felon. Enjoy the fascism.

No surprise here. These people have gotten away with so much for so long that they truly believe that they have the right to flaunt our laws. Time long overdue to round them up, prosecute the US citizens and deport the illegals. The Dems are in an uproar because this administration is in the process of removing the criminals from our country that the Biden administration let walk in. Newsom and his cronies sat back and did absolutely nothing to prevent them from entering Calif.

Millions upon millions . I read somewhere there was 1 million in

the LA area ! As a added bonus when Ice agents have a warrant to search premises for suspected  criminals they sometimes find illegals that have been hiding for decades!

Where does the Constitution outline what due process an illegal immigrant is entitled to?

You're such a phony.

That was the best case scenario and only possible because of demographics. It was actually expected to be an American then but now multiculturalism and bilingual schools are the norm. The numbers are so great now assimilation isn't even possible anymore because the original Americans are outnumbered.

See the latest LA riots and all the Mexican flags? This is modern America now.

Oh yes I know. These people are so out of touch it boggles the mind. I'm from Boulder Colorado where that recent incident happened, in fact going back next month to visit my parents.

They are the tip of the spear for liberal progressive nonsense and encouraged this at every step along the way. The only thing that has saved them so far is the insane housing prices but it's creeping closer and closer every year.

You go to such lengths to protect these foreigners even though they would never do the same for you. Nothing about this honorable or admirable. Just think about how you're treated in Thailand and try to have some perspective.

Its just gaslighting and avoiding addressing my original point.

Which has yet to be addressed.

I have never posted a single comment in support of trump. I've also explained why yet the gaslighting never stops.

Ah, the Palisades Fire.  How quickly Mayor Bass has put it on the back burner (sorry, bad pun). There have been virtually zero building permits granted since then, as her/the lefty bureaucracy gums things up for people who want their lives back.  This is a true scandal that gets no attention.

She needs to stay in her lane. Run the city.

Easy to blame the city, but the  permit process was established to ensure  that  building  problems  are prevented. Many of the people complaining have not done what they are supposed to do;

One of the biggest problems for many residents is that they were grandfathered in or were given permission to postpone installing proper sewage systems. Pacific Palisades is one of the areas where  residents could use a septic system. Unfortunately, those residents  did not always  maintain their systems, not emptying tanks, and not maintaining drainage. the end result  was that raw sewage was a problem in some areas, contaminating the soil and ground water. The dispensations were granted on  the undertaking that if there was ever  major work, the  septic systems would be replaced. Having septic tank systems in Pacific palisades might have worked in 1965. it doesn't work in 2025.

Also, many residents have not decontaminated their soil or cleared their debris or  surveyed their land. these are all requirements  before a building permit can be granted. Holding back a permit is the only way to ensure compliance for soil remediation, otherwise an unscrupulous  builder just leaves the contaminated soil or doesn't deal with a debris pile in a timely manner. The survey is needed to protect the land rights of utilities, neighboring properties and public right of ways. The requirement was put into effect because of too many encroachments, where the land owner then argues, ooopsie I made a mistake, so don't make me tear a building down, and drags out the case for years.  These bylaws were put into place because of past  issues. The public demanded them. Now some people find it inconvenient.

Not mentioned, as usual is that many of the building permit requests are incomplete and that people don't even have the financing for the rebuilding. Look at some of the builders implicated. Too many questionable entities who homeowners in desperation have   retained, and who are not quality  builders.

No, they are US citizens. And as a reminder, California was historically a part of Mexico. It is people who are non mexican who are the invaders.

 I didn’t know this

Grok
Yes, California allows non-citizens to become police officers under specific conditions. Senate Bill 960, effective January 1, 2023, removed the requirement for police officers to be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have applied for citizenship. Instead, individuals must be legally authorized to work in the United States, such as those with valid work permits, including lawful permanent residents (green card holders), asylees, refugees, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) .However, the law does not permit undocumented immigrants to become police officers, as federal law prohibits hiring individuals without legal work authorization.
