I came to Thailand not to pay for sex.

 

While it's often claimed that payment is inevitable in some form, that idea is false. Only the usual suspects who don't know any better will stick to this claim.

 

So, why did you come to 🇹🇭 to pay for sex? I mean it's dumb. It's the total opposite of why you should be doing in Thailand.  You pony up for a plane ticket, sacrifice all the good stuff, and then get to line up like a freshly caught fish at immigration, all for the distinct privilege of paying for sex in Thailand. It is a financial and moral self sabotage.  Just pay a hooker back home. Its cheaper and you got more choice. There are Thai and now very popular Vietnamese prostitutes in your country too.

The last time I took a stroll down soi 6 early afternoon to have a beer there was not a seat to be had. All taken up with the bar girls staring at their phones.

Wouldn't go there for a free trip. Phuket was enough of a letdown. Looking out towards the water it was fine, but when you turn around, all you see is Bangkok.

The good news is that paying for sex in Thailand is generally a one time payment for an hour or so of pleasure.   And the menu changes every day with more or less unlimited choices on the babe buffet.

 

Many guys prefer that to taking a "regular girl" out for expensive dinners, concerts, cocktails, gifts, etc hoping to get some pleasure.  It often works for some who get the "pleasure" so some take it a step forward and get married to a regular girl where they generally provide a house, car, insurance, food, and most of the living expenses.  All great for a while and then over half of these marriages end up in divorce and in most places you can be pretty sure if you have kids that wifey will get the kids and you will pay child support and/or alimony for years. In many places she will also get half or more of everything you have worked for in your life.  Then maybe that Thai gal one time pay to play starts to look a little better.

 

Sure there are exceptions and great for those who do end up with a great wife and they live happily ever after.  I know a few couples like that.  I also know a whole lot more who hated each other after a few years and many of them who have gone through semi hell plus often the kids get caught in the middle.

 

So maybe a better idea is/was to pay a Thai gal?
