Still there have to be an investigation and if it turns out he voted for Trump, a preacher, and also had Walz on his list? What then?

It's no big secret what ANTIFA is all about. They'd like nothing better than to start a civil war in the USA. And that's exactly what could happen in Trump "takes over" and shuts down the riots.
