Methinks time to legalize coke as well.

Go one step more

Legalize all drugs.

Get control, tax revenue, and put the bad guys out of business.

The so called war on drugs,  was lost world wide years ago.

There's more drugs on the worlds streets today,  than ever before.

Jail the peddler of misery...

Coke is a social drug, its not like meth or heroin.

Make him use all of the drugs and put him in a cell for the night. In the morning if he is OK give him a good breakfast and send him on his way.

How many children has he killed with this schhhhhiiiiiiiiit!!

Oh Jeez, I wish people would be more informed, before making silly comments!

How many children have thousands of baht to buy a tiny packet of a gram of coke?

This is a drug that is used by the wealthiest, and in the states, it is an epidemic amongst lawyers and such, wealthy individuals, because it apparently does not impair their ability to work, but in fact, enhances their working hours and efforts.

I will add that it does not make people do nutty things like go crazy, angry, violent, etc. etc.

Just keeps you awake, and aware of your surroundings in an enhanced manner.

LEGALIZE IT.

To make a profit had to cut the <deleted> out of it less than a kilo of powder yeah it sounds like he’s a big-time dealer right TIT

After tomorrow, this story will go away, as they always do.

In all likelihood, through lawyers hired by "friends" he will post B10-15 million bail and quietly disappear.  There will be no news story.

This big time drug dealer 🤣😅 will have to sell his Honda Wave. Should have bought a Ducati he might have got away 🤣😂🤣

The usual tiresome old cobblers about goings on in Thai prisons.   I'm surprised that you failed to mention the "fish-head soup" urban myth.

Not the brightest. Carrying a gun and selling a class 2 narcotic drug in a 3rd world country where the jails are horrendous.

He wasn't carrying a gun, talk about "not the brightest".

Rule 1 of drug club, don't sell to Thais.....they could be cops

He wasn't selling to Thais.  No.1 rule, read the OP.

Could you elaborate on which nationality the purchaser was on the sting operation arranged by RTP? I may well be missing something and it wouldn't be the first time.

Looks like Mike is going to be a visitor to our beautiful Bangkok Hilton and may he rot in hell piece of shiit

Yes and All other recreational drugs not the least for the purposes of raising money via taxes and monitoring the health and welfare of those users who may need it.

He was caught carrying a firearm. Firearms include handguns, pistols, revolvers, rifles, machine guns. Considering he was riding motorbike it would be reasonable to assume it would be a compact firearm such as a gun. All the same I will modify my comment as to not upset you:

"Not the brightest. Carrying a firearm and selling a class 2 narcotic drug in a 3rd world country where the jails are horrendous. "

Are we happy now? Can we move on with our lives?

And bear in mind that many farang are desperate when faced with the despicable & cruel punishment & may be police informers; they could be British,  French, German ,Russian,  Australian, Israeli, Portuguese or any nationally that holidays here. Soon the police will turn this place into a joyless, paranoid hellhole. And many forum members will applaud them for it.

Doesn't look like someone involved in drugs in any way.😜

As they took him away, he sang some nonsense:

"Ich begann mit Burgund,

aber bald kam ich in die schwierigeren Gefilde."

I think the point being made was that his gun was found at his home, along with most of the drugs, not when he was initially apprehended.

It would seem that the firearm was found at his residence, not on his person at the time of arrest.

Still waiting for @Liverpool Lou to come back and comment on the nationality of the undercover officer.

Somebody’s not so good at math.

Somebody’s not so good at math or someone else took home 2/3 or three-quarter of the product he had.

Because doing math here is 424 are now worth 12,500 baht each.

and before I hear anyone say, he cuts it.

That would be a 5 to 1 cut with almost no drug in it making it just a supplement lol

No, he was not carrying a firearm...

"A subsequent search of his residence unveiled an additional 424 grams of cocaine and the handgun, with the seized drugs valued at nearly half a million baht".

Because of the above.

Why do I need to elaborate on something that was clearly reported in the OP?...

"...investigations revealed his real trade was in supplying cocaine to foreign nationals"   so it's not very likely that he was set up by a Thai purchaser, is it?
