Just saw a news report that at least 3, and possibly 4, Iranian government aircraft have recently touched down in Oman. This includes the Iranian President's official plane, their equivalent of Air Force One.  What could be going on?

A lot of things will have unexpected new orifices very shortly after today's ballistic missile attack on an Israeli hospital and could be behind any exodus 🤔

Oman has in the past been the site of clandestine negotiations between the U.S. and Iran.  It could be the Iranian leadership is doing a runner, but it's more likely Iran is trying to make a deal with the U.S. and Israel.  For at least 20 years, Oman has served as an intermediary between Iran and the U.S.  Oman's former leader, Sultan Qaboos, had maintained good relations with both the U.S. and Iran and even hosted a visit by Netanyahu in 2018.    https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/netanyahu-makes-historic-visit-to-oman-570388

"At times, Qaboos was able to position himself as a trusted mediator in the region’s tensest situations, including an interim nuclear agreement between the United States and Iran in 2013."  https://www.britannica.com/biography/Qaboos-bin-Said

Qaboos died in 2020 and his successor as Sultan has upheld the role of go-between.

H M, Iranian President discuss de-escalation amid Israeli attacks

Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik made a phone call to Dr Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Monday.

...

His Majesty the Sultan emphasised the importance of de-escalation from both sides and a return to negotiations, dialogue, and understanding to halt the spectre of ongoing conflict and its catastrophic repercussions, safeguarding lives and resources.

His Majesty the Sultan further reaffirmed the commitment of his government to actively contribute through all political and diplomatic means to resolving this crisis, preventing its escalation, and establishing fair and just settlements that restore normalcy.

China 🇨🇳 is sending passive air-defense radars to test against F35.

Under no circumstances will China bring offensive weapons to the fight.

Imagine the consequences if a made in China missile hits Tel Aviv.

Quite a bit of Israeli propaganda concerning the hospital hit, on front pages and so on. We don't know the accuracy of the Iranian guidance systems. but often they  up hitting empty fields and so on. Whereas as Israeli missiles and so on are hitting Gaza medical facilities nearly every day and called out as targeting Hamas (if to be believed) i.e. highly accurate. Personally I don't believe the Iranian leadership is leaving as the religious crowd believe in end of times or at least for propaganda purposes. therefore major egg on face if evacuating. Will have to wait and see if Trump's offer of two weeks for further diplomacy makes any difference, I guess the Israelis are too happy about Trump  However, Trump's big mouth - Unconditional Surrender- leaves him between a rock and a hard place with the MAGA crowd,

Being under sanctions , a lot of parts must have come from China.

Oil for money and parts.

Nuts and bolts 🔩 for sure, but when whole engines, like this Shahab-3 engine falls out of the sky over Tel Aviv, it is hard to hide where it came from.

Large weapon systems have serial numbers and clear markings.

Beijing is not dumb enough to fight someone else's war.

Getting tge radar signature if the F35 and F22 is gold to them.
