We all know the figures will be a little inaccurate.

But lets face it. some rich people are leaving.

But sorry.

I don't see any millionaires coming.  do you ? :coffee1:

Good day.

"A little inaccurate"??

Try wholly fabricated and completely inaccurate. 10.900 "news" articles in right wing press last year and the figures don't support it. At all. And all based on a "report" by a company that sells Golden Passports and wants to encourage high wealth people to leave.......so spend a fortune splashing your propaganda through paid media to make people believe it is happening and they should do it to.

0.3% of millionaires left in 2024. And that is fairly consistent with the years from 2013 to 2024 too. And that doesn't include millionaires who have come to Britain.

It is a lie, not "a little inaccurate".

Too dumb to see the propaganda in front of you because it fits your anti-Labour narrative. Did you even read the article?

Sure.

But I'm, anti Labour and anti Conservative.

But we all  know what you are.

That's obvious by the profile pic of that grifting little scrote.

I am anti conservative for sure. I have fluctuated on Labour. I would have voted Blair the first time, but not the second or third. DEFINITELY would have voted for them this time but the jury is out on Starmer for me.

See? Not blind faith, I can judge things and people on what they say and do. And I have judged Farage - a grifter, a liar, a hypocrite, a hate monger, and a self serving money grabber. Nothing more, nothing less. It is so easy to catch him out on anything he says.

"Sooner or later, you run out of other people's money"

... part of the reason I left the USA ... 'taxes'.   Never minded paying them, but did mind what it was spent on, and who's pockets they were going into.   Certainly not the people that needed them.

Corrupt bastards, as DOGE pointed out, for the most ignorant to understand.  Surely the same in the UK.

Aren't you still filing a tax return with the IRS and still liable to pay tax on income earned in the USA?

I can't believe that you got 5 thumbs down for that accurate post.

Speaking to UK relatives and friends in £100k p.a. jobs and they are saying that it is not just the millionaires, but also other decent wealth creators who are looking elsewhere.

Farage must be peeing himself with laughter as the door for him to become the next prime minister opens wider and wider. With Bransonesque opportunism he will latch onto this information,

Well....

Reform would win most seats in general election, in-depth poll suggests

YouGov's first MRP survey since the general election suggests Nigel Farage's party would win the most seats - but not enough to form a majority government. Meanwhile, the two major parties of the past century would fall below half of the vote share collectively.

invaded by who?

You know who - immigrants, some being rapists, terrorists, religious extremists and criminals. What could possibly go wrong.

TIL Britan or Britian or Britain has at least 16,500 people.

Doubt they will go back.

But maybe go to a different location on the planet.

The politics of envy, combined with financial illiteracy is a very poor combination that will see Britain's economy circle further down the toilet.

But hey, at least we can replace the 16,500 millionaires with many times that number of cultural enriching "doctors and engineers" coming over on the dinghys and living free in our hotels (but only until they can land their first job as brain surgeon or rocket scientist).

The NHS being in dire straits because of the lack of doctors has been said to be recruiting foreign medical staff with lower qualifications . There have also been cases where the so called immigrant doctors have used fake qualifications . The UK is experiencing a brain drain , right now , with the repercussions just beginning .  The numbers invading in dinghies will be dwarfed when Starmer gets his way to allow thousands of foreign workers to work in the UK to build the 1.5 million new homes , most of which will be to house immigrants .  Starmer and his muppets continue to wreak havoc to the UK and latest figures show 100,000 UK indigenous people emigrated which included millionaires , tradesmen and professionals . The UK is almost beyond recognition . Very sad .

The exodus started with Brexit. UK was a very convenient place to live and administer your corporate Europe wide empire. Brexit made that less useful. And, how can UK compete with UAE's  zero tax regime where oil money pays for everything? If you want to sit in your air-conditioned CONDO or office all day, gloating over your stack of dollars and gold bars, fair enough. But is it actually living? Nothing i want to do is in Dubai.

I enjoyed my UK life in rural Hampshire. Big garden, Lots of nice countryside, could walk down to my local stream and catch trout, and see lots of wildlife. I do miss it. Unfortunately greedy multi-national company decided to make me redundant at 55 and that is old in IT. Without sufficient funds to payoff the mortgage, had to make some hard decisions. Dream home sold, paid off the ex-wife and had just enough for Thailand. But give me a million pounds and i would be on a plane back tomorrow.
