"mental disorder" is too vague. it's so abstract it can mean anything.   if you've had at least one depression in your life, does it mean you have a "mental disorder"? maybe it's n

Social media is mostly an "illusion" creating fantasies.
People taking photos of themselves in exotic locations.

That's not real life.

The women that are constantly traveling and posting pics of themselves on Instagram in exotic locations can barely keep a relationship alive, let alone raise a family properly.

And all the other women are watching this thinking their lives are boring and they are missing out.

Life is not meant to be a constant adventure and seeking endless thrills.

What, pray tell, is it meant to be?

UK is a woke nanny police state run by paranoid <deleted>  with big egos  and little intelligence

Well, gee, what changes have taken place during the past few decades in the UK which might suggest a possible cause? Or is the UK the same as it was fifty years ago?

The Guardian and truth is an oxymoron, unless you are a die hard left winger of course!

Go on then, name any untruths ( not opinion which you disagree with) that the Guardian has printed.

Breakfasts.
I normally skip breakfast, so I have a limited social media presence.

I like croissants, but I’d not take a picture of one.

Id take a picture of a potato scone, if the opportunity arose.  Who would not?

If you let yourself go on a perpetual downward spiral maybe, which often includes becoming a heroin addict.

But most often can be managed without pharmaceutical intervention.

I think we should distinguish depression as a condition, to being depressed. Everyone gets depressed at some point in their life. I get depressed when bad sh*t happens in my life, but I don't need medication. I use exercise as a way to improve my mental outlook.

I suppose it depends on your point of view.  You think you are healthy and don’t need medication; but big pharma needs you to take medication to start the cycle of dependency.  You might want to ask your doctor whose side he is on, and see if putting your hand in your pocket could bring him over to your side.

NHS figures on Thursday found that 23 per cent of people of working age now have a mental disorder

And they are all English women. Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy.... commonly known as Mad Cow Disease.

BSE is a blood disorder.  It has severely affected blood donations.  Misogyny knows no bounds, but we would all benefit if it did.

If breakfast is the high point and adventure of your life I pity you. So life is meant to be repetitive, boring, dull and ugly?

Enjoy the pix of your potato scone. You must feel terribly fulfilled.

I don't have a doctor... the golden rule to staying healthy. I'll see one if absolutely necessary, after I've done a lot of research and there are no other options. Very little medication enters my body.

I could fair go a potato scone right now, and you can be sure that I would post a picture, if the opportunity arose.

I prefer "familiar", rather than 'repetitive'; "predictable", rather than 'boring', "subtle", rather than 'dull', and "plain", rather than 'ugly'.

I blame the cost of living and the housing crisis. When you and your partner both earn 30,000 GBP a year and you realise after paying rent on your small flat and bills, that buying a house and starting a family will take another 30 years. Then you get depressed and do retail therapy or get pissed to forget.

If you don't work you get taken care of. Free money is not exactly an incentive to get people into a job. Then of course the Woke ideology that they cant get a job because they dress up like an animal or something else equally ridiculous. Some people in society are genuinely unable to work but the majority are not. Put them in a position what ever is available and make that the only source of their income.

The Woke nonsense does not help either with these stupid gender ideology and pronouns. You are either a male or a female. You can not be something else.

In the UK it pays to not work and many will take advantage of it. Doctors will in many cases sign them off as unfit to work.

Are your Doctor's at the heart of the problem?

I'm sure the easiest thing for them to do is just sign a piece of paper and get these folks outta their hair, rather than having to go through the rigamarole of telling them to 'shape up'

They are certainly contributing to it.

Maybe that is why they are depressed.

Climate Change will be the reason for the big divide. The final, and deciding reason, why the west has to curtail the rest's ambitions. The UK and US leading the charge.

Maybe we should pity you due to your limited understanding of life and what it is. It's quite simple. You're born without consent into a life with no guide or "job" description. For a very large number of people, who chose the wrong parents (parents in a poor country where most people live below the poverty line), having a meal and clean water would make their day.

Forget about pitying other members - what makes your life so amazing and what is the high point of your day?
