They've got it all in t'çomputah, so no paper needed, in my experience.

How many Extensions have you done without the 90 days paper, tucked in the back of your passport.

Not for me. I carry a copy in my passport and one in my wallet. My friend has deleted his approval slip. Thanks for the replies. All much the same as I advised him.

Simply answer is YES.   Current info as of 7 Jul 2025.   Renewal of 1 yr Non O extention.    Yesterday, they asked for it and told them it's in the passport.    They took it out, and I believe they even

took it and made a copy to put in the stack of pages I submitted.

This was at CM Immigration.

The original 90-days receipt should be stapled in you passport, which to need to bring when extending a permission to stay based on retirement. Depending of which immigration office you extend your stay in, they might also renew your 90-days address report.

Never a good idea to staple 90-day report receipts to passports IMHO since the accumulation of staple holes over the years could lead to irreparable passport damage in the form of torn pages. And I only bother printing out a current receipt for the pile of supporting papers I have on hand for a retirement extension application.

Absolutely!  Anyone tries to staple anything in my passport I try to stop them. If they succeed I carefully remove it as soon as I can. These are the very same people that will later make a fuss about a "damaged" passport.

I always use a paper clip for the 90 day report. The IO has always reused it. To use a stapler is in fact an offense, as the passport is government property of the issuing country. It is also possible to be refused boarding of an aircraft, as the staple has in fact damaged the passport.

Rules is rules, but when in Thailand, who bothers about rules!?
