Now you're just being ridiculous.

What does that have to do with the $4,239 per taxpayer that it cost us to NOT get rid of the Taliban.  And wouldn't it be stooppid to repeat that mistake to NOT get rid of the Houthis?

TAB A - FY 2001 to FY 2021 Section 1090 FY17 NDAA Cost of Wars per Taxpayer.xlsx

I'd point out that the gub'ment is lying to us in this 2022 (Biden era) reports, given that the cost of the Afghan war was over $2.2 Trillion, not the $850 billion claimed on this report.  Meaning that the cost per taxpayer was closer to $11,000 than to $4,239.

So what, if the USA wants to get involved with stuff then they will, remember Vietnam and Korea................😉

And just look at the modern weapons they are creating, a non-stop endeavour, eh...🤗

So, you're saying the Houthis are unbeatable against the might of the US and Israel? I don't think so.

Trying to put words into my mouth? What I'm saying is that the US and Israel won't do what it takes to definitively subdue the Houthis. You seem to believe in the magical power of bombing. Nothing short of boots on the ground and an army of occupation stands even a chance of  definitive solution. You think President Trump wants to get involved in that kind of adventure? As for the Israelis, they haven't got enough land-based forces to deal with both the Palestinians and the Houthis.

Don't start a war if you don't intend to win no matter the cost, not just in monetary costs, but in international condemnation for breaking the rules even when the enemy doesn't come even close to following them.

Israel is a good example of how to fight a war and win.

Is it? We'll have to wait quite a few years to determine if Hamas has been really destroyed and if this ear has made Israel safer.

Biden, Trump, and Netanyahu have tried that approach. (President Trump, at least, was wise enough to change course early on.)  Maybe you know something they don't? Got any tips for them?

Israel will still be fighting enemies in 50, 75 and 100 years.  The Brits left them in an intractable situation back in '48.

If they eliminate Hamas, it'll be someone else next time.  And there will be a next time.  They're creating zealots faster than they can possibly kill them.

As if the knobs who replace them will be any better?

If Iran is made impotent , then there will be no more funding for anti Israel groups.

Anti Israel groups may decide that it would be better if they stopped waging war on Israel ?

I don't claim a crystal ball.  Just a lookback.  And a reality check with Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, etc.

Personally, I think the key in Iran is to get the populace to rise up against the Mullahs and go back to the progressive and prosperous country it was before they took power in '78  (I think that's the year).  That's possible only if Israel doesn't kill too many moderate Iranians and turn their survivors into angry zealots.  I'd like to think they have a plan for that.  But again.  No crystal ball.

If they are able to turn Iran, they may have peace.  But not if they just knock Iran back.

How?

Who should do it?

Who are they?

Where are they?

What about their replacements?

Syria has a new regime in charge .

They will want to hold onto power .

They seem to want to have peace with Israel .

Pro Palestine factions in Syria would be fighting him for power .

The Palestinians are more of a threat to Syria than the Israelis are .

Wouldn't be surprising if Syria and Israel signed a peace deal

WWII lasted about 6 years?  Has Israel lost any wars?

Reuters called it an agreement. Which is what I called it. If you've got a problem with that, take it up with Reuters.

And many of us call you a Asean Now multi identity who innudates the forums with pro- Trump nonsense. There are other names used for you, so take it up with them.

Not having land-based forces didn't stop Israel from bombing the hack out of the Iranians, did it now? and how long do you think before Trump will just get sick and tired from the Houthis and lower the boom on them, I mean how long can the world put

up with gang of lunatics that uses Gaza as an excuse to wage wars?

I guess you agree with the party about sending B-2s to bomb the Houthis and eliminate the nuclear threat they pose? Because that's what the bombing of Iran was about. Israel has already repeatedly bombed the Houthis. As has the United States under both Biden and Israel. How has that worked out? The US military already is suffering from a shortage of bombs. You think they want to leave the US defenseless for a problem that others should be taking care of? Even if you think that the USA should be a tool of Israel's foreign policy, like you do, bombing would still be ineffective.

I should add that the Saudis and the UAE also bombed the sh*t out of Yemen. That worked out well, didn't it?

1948 was when the UN declared the state of Israel to exist. And immediately, Israel was invaaded by armies from 5 countries.  The "intractable situation" is that far too many in the middle east cannot accept the simple fact that Israel is a country, and deserves to exist just like any other. Until THAT "intractble situation" is solved, the rest is moot.

You do love to use the saying: how's that working out? well, groups of murderers who kill, mime and rape others and deny their right to exist out of religious madness, those kinds of people will disappear and soon, whether by force or by nature,

And you like to disregard the historical facts of the case which I have repeatedly cited.  What you advocate has been tried repeatedly and failed. You'd rather make predictions based on your indignation. Empty stuff you're touting.
