Gerontophilia or gerontosexuality is the primary sexual attraction to older people. 
 

Many of the foreigners here (myself included) are over 50 with Thai partners 20,30 or 40 years younger.

 

Gerontophilia is often misunderstood.  People will say “only with him for his money” but for a gerontophile they only have sexual attraction to those older, the word geriatric is from the root of this. Gerontophiles feel no attraction to young people.

 

I wonder how many of our esteemed member’s partners are in fact gerontophiles.

 

There is a 2013 movie out there titled Gerontophilia. That features a gay 18 year old gerontophile boy who lands his dream job in an old people’s home.

 

A quick search could only find one gerontophile dating site called SilverDaddies for older men and their younger male admirers, I couldn’t find a site for straight couples.

 

Could Gerontophilia be a purely gay phenomena?

Older men possibly are sexually attractive to Thai women, because they have more experience in bed. I am pretty sure my GF had never had an orgasm, until I introduced her to them.

 

Having said that, IMO the financial factor must be considerable. The pensions of most Western retirees looks pretty wealthy to many Thai women, and they know it doesn't stop.

Considering the average job is 12 hr shifts for naff all wages,

I wouldn't say I am great in bed. Great is 95%, I am about 60%.
