July 29, 2025Jul 29 Hi What Visa number do I use when I have an an annual retirement Visa extension? Is it the number written on the re-entry permit, the original Retirement Visa or when last extended? Thanks
July 29, 2025Jul 29 Popular Post It's an optional field. Leave it blank and don't worry. But if you really want to put something in there, here's a tip: It doesn't matter. No one is checking. It's an automated system that just ensures you filled in every mandatory field, and then it issues you a QR code and you are done.
July 29, 2025Jul 29 Author @BrandonJT thanks for the reply. It’s and keeping with what the ChatGPT said. I was just double checking.
July 29, 2025Jul 29 Popular Post I did the TDAC for the first time yesterday (very easy). It was for my Cambodian GF returning from Siem Reap to Bangkok. I put the number of her re-entry permit in as the visa number. No problem, no questions, and no interrogation on arrival today.
July 30, 2025Jul 30 OP, for visa # put the number on your reentry permit. Same as with the previous TM6 days.
July 30, 2025Jul 30 My hotel cancelled my booking after I completed the TDAC. Do I need to update with the new hotel name and address?

July 30, 2025Jul 30 Technically, you can in the update section. However, and this is just my opinion, when was the last time an immigration officer ever looked at the hotel accommodation? The info is always inaccurate anyway since the typical visitor will stay at multiple places and only the first night info is required.

Your opinion is correct. If accommodation changes do nothing. There are even folk arrive in Thailand with zero accommodation. In the TM6 days folk wrote anything. Nana Hotel soi 4 Sukhumvit was popular.

I have a hospital appointment in Thailand and will be flying with Air Asia. I entered my Cambodian Visa Number along with the city where I live in Cambodia. As a British subject living in Cambodia full time, there were no problems with Thai Immigration. I received my TDAC form with QR Code as a pdf file which I printed on my Epson printer. All set now to travel from Cambodia to Thailand and back again (under the banner of Medical & Wellness)

Same as address in Cambodia. You may as well have put UK address. The Visa number field can be left. In the days of TM6 folk with eg a reentry permit (for Thailand) should put that. It alerts the io that you are entering with a permit or Visa.

She asked my wife if I had done it, she said yes and that was it.
August 1, 2025Aug 1 Popular Post Beware "Googling" Tdac. It leads to scam sites. Did it yesterday and one site asked for the equivalent of 3,500 THB. Only use this https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home

August 3, 2025Aug 3 Wife and I have flown into Thailand twice in July. I filed the TDAC for both of us online. Printed the first out before I left the U.S. of A. and uploaded the second to my email account for the second, at the airport in Singapore. Wife and I both entered on U.S. of A. passport each time but she also has Thai passport and ID. Immigration not only didn't ask me, it wasn't mentioned either time I arrived. I went through immigration check without any problems first and second time. My wife was questioned by immigration on return from Singapore. She was asked if she had filed a TDAC before entry even though she and I were both included in the email they sent to my email address. I put the same email address in when I filed for her. I saw her giving immigration her Thai ID before she was cleared through.
