Most people in the UK think if inflation goes down from 5% to 2% things are getting cheaper......seriously.. They have no concept that prices are rising still, just not as fast as they were.

Well, if wages keep pace with that then there's not a problem. They may exceed the rate of inflation. They may fall behind. Who knows?

As for inflation: it's built-in to the economic system. It's not always a bad thing. For instance, because inflation was so during WW2, and wages kept pace, the debt of ordinary Americans was drastically reduced. Bankers took a bit hit, though.

The world economic structure is rapidly going "off script" as was presumed to be diligently followed by the appointed actors selected by the directors who have traditionally assumed only they have the  perfect script that was/is immune to editing even in the face of a disenchanted audience.

Clown shows have lost any long term appeal.
