Since it's at least 5 years since my last heart check-up, (I'm 66 years old now), and since I will soon be in either Laos or Myanmar, (both of which are not famous for having decent hospitals), I booked a heart check-up at Phayathai.  I haven't been to this private hospital before, but the service etc was all fine, with a total bill of about 4,000 baht.

The ultrasound all looked good and the treadmill test was also fine.  I found it interesting that the nurses/doctor asked me as I was walking slowly on the treadmill if I had any heart pain. No pain of course, and so they increased the treadmill speed, aiming for an increased heart rate of 130 bpm.  They looked more and more surprised as they increased the speed more and more and my breathing remained normal and my HR increased only slightly 🙂  Finally, I was running at an Olympic speed (lol), and hit the 130 bpm and the test was ended.

Needless to say, the results were excellent with zero sign of artery disease, heart disease etc etc every measurement absolutely normal.  I noted that my calculated life expectancy, based on my current age and lifestyle etc, is 101 years old!

Anyway, I'm happy to recommend Phyathai in Sri Racha for checking out your ticker.
