  • Starmer has lost the trust of the people.   He is widely despised.    A tyrant and a liar. The enemy of the British people.    Good luck at the next election.

Not at all, your reference to "Trump haters" made me think you were referring to him and that you have a strange idea of 'liberal'!

So you do love Starmer

"Love" is a strong word.  I'm a Labour supporter and while his government is by no means perfect, it's a huge improvement on what we had with the Tories.  He's a decent man although I wish he had more charisma!

Decent men have no need to fire Super Injunctions about, left, right and centre.

Decent men have no need to have arsonists, charged with Terrorism offences, to ensure a media blackout.

Decent men do not live in other peoples Penthouse apartments, and try to pass it off as their own home.

Decent men, do not write rules, ensuring that they get a tax free pension, when everyone needs to pay tax on theirs.

Decent ? I don't think you understand the meaning of the word.

Are any politicians "decent"?  Next, you'll be telling me that Boris Johnson and Farage are "decent"! 🤣

The topic is about Starmer and 25 lies.

You posted that Starmer is a decent man.

The OP and my post above, suggests that he is anything but a decent man.

Feel free to start a topic on any other UK politician, that is worthy of being ripped into.

You certainly fooled me.

That certainly didn’t take long.

Thank you for having me high on your list to warrant such a quick reply.

All while having your tea and biscuits.

OK, fair enough.

So then all of the UK Trump haters that post on the US political threads on this forum should love him and his policies.

Such as @transam @Chomper Higgot @BarraMarra @Nick Carter icp @candide just to name a few.

Apologies in advance if left out a UK leftist.

Why have you labelled me as a Trump hater ?

What have I done to deserve that ?

Nah.  There were hundreds of posts from lefties like me about the indecency of Boris, Liz Truss 🤣 and Richie, so I guess it's only fair that Righties have their go now.  Have fun.

A proper excuse

This is where your lies are getting you, Starmer

Quote

Sir Keir Starmer’s policies have been “suicidal on the doorstep”, a Labour MP has admitted.

Ian Byrne said voters had been repelled by the Prime Minister’s positions on issues including the winter fuel allowance, the two-child benefit cap and cuts to disability benefits.

His remarks came as a YouGov poll showed the Government’s approval rating has hit a new low, matching scores recorded by Rishi Sunak’s Tory administration just before the last election.

It also doesn't help, that you are devoid of a personality, speak like a robot and are an all round bellthronk.

Approval rating of minus 56

Some going, after a year.

Starmer can't hold a candle to Trump in the lying department. Count your blessings.

I would take Trump any day.

I have some serious concerns about the facts in the article about the Chagos Islands. The actual cost is spread over the 99 year lease. The government's figures are correct. For the first three years there will be an additional charge just over 100 million for the lease of the base. Although I have serious doubts about the capability of this governments I do appreciate real facts rather than manufactured ones.

25 lies is but an itch.

Trump’s false or misleading claims total 30,573 over 4 years of his first presidency.

Yet Trump was re-elected for another four years.

   Really ?

OMG

I never knew that .

How come no ones ever said that before ?

Learn something new everyday

The British public have finally woken up to Starmer and his pathetic cabinet

Hopefully he and his government will not be in power to long

Under his watch the Country has gone to the dogs

Immigration illegal asylum seekers and so on out of control  😱

Most politicians are less than truthful at times. What makes Starmer different is his depressing image, which only gets worse when he starts to speak.

The issue in the UK is that there is insufficient social spending and low taxes.

Social spending is necessary.  But it comes either from taxation or from borrowing.  Which latter is a deferred form of taxation, often imposed as "inflation", meaning devaluation of the national currency.

Taxation comes from income, derived from several sources.  Income comes from productive activity including commerce.

Pitch taxation too high and you reduce productive activity and hence revenue.  I.e. less available to spend on social (and other real or imagined) needs.  By the same token you increase the need for social spending.  Which cannot be met.

Governments must (but fail to) foster both productive activities and at the same time reduce the need for social spending.

Unfortunately modern career politicians, many with little knowledge of real world finances and mesmerized by Modern Monetary Theory ("MMT"), ignore the existence of the Laffer Curve.

The lying bastard stealthily increased Income  Taxes by not revoking the frozen Tax Allowances. Not long before the State Pension will be more than the Personal Allowance.

Starmer may well have a large majority but wait until his own MPs abstain or vote against him.
