Actually, she didn't say that she'd nominate him simply for negotiating peace. 

 

As that Breitbart article correctly points out, she said she'd nominate him:

If these negotiations could lead to an end of conflict and a rapprochement between Russia and the US, a reestablishment of diplomatic relationship, and new nuclear arms treaties to roll the Nuclear Doomsday Clock back an hour or so.  But? Those will never go back to Ukraine.  So at this point I'm cautiously optimistic.

A number of MAGA supporters on this forum constantly repeated Trump's claim in support of voting for Trump 2.0, were they joking - I think not, as were his supporters in general. In anycase Trump claimed he was being sarcastic, thereby doubling down with his BS when thousands were dying every week.

 

The other matter you mentioned was in reference to voter disenfranchisement, presumedly by a Trump supporter for which he was convicted, not an attempted "joke" - more MAGA BS.
