Police in Trang Province have arrested a 44-year-old man accused of fatally attacking his 21-year-old niece, a third-year nursing student, in a shocking domestic incident.

The suspect, identified as Mr. Suriyan “Den” Yadam, allegedly used a hoe to strike his niece, Ms. Parichat “Cheer” Yadam, multiple times in her family home in Nong Chang Laen Subdistrict, Huai Yot District, on 16 August. Emergency responders found Ms. Parichat severely injured and transported her to Huai Yot Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Following the attack, Mr. Yadam fled into the nearby hills. Police from Huai Yot and Ratsa stations, working with local authorities and rescue teams, set up a coordinated manhunt and eventually apprehended him along with the blood-stained weapon and clothing.

During questioning, Mr. Yadam reportedly admitted to the killing, citing long-standing disputes and perceived family grievances. He claimed he had been resentful of the attention and care his niece received from their family. Witnesses described him as showing no visible remorse.

Ms. Parichat’s grandmother, 65-year-old Mrs. Chanapha Yadam, who raised her from childhood, expressed profound grief at the loss of her granddaughter. “She was on her way to a bright future as a nurse,” she said, tearfully.

Authorities have charged Mr. Yadam with murder and are conducting further investigations, including drug testing, as he has a history of substance abuse. Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading to the incident and have urged the public to provide any information that may assist the case.

You're very naive to think it is something new!

Needs to be put away for looking like that !

Targeting a niece? There are surely certain types of people who have no place in society, and this is but one that doesn't belong.

Hopefully no case of mistaken identity here or...🤔

Yes, almost as scary as USA

Nasty P,O.S.

Hope he gets a long jail term.

Actually, a hell of a lot more, as punishment pales by comparison to the US. Here you can "compensate" for those you kill, whereas in America, only the very rich can sometimes get away with murder. Also here, intentional homicide, like this one, is higher than the US. Mass murders increasing, and have been happening all along, and knife crimes off the scale. Not to mention the daily driving deaths and molestations of students.

He looks like a normal enough kinda guy.

Nothing more to expect out of a fool who pints his face like that. Luckily they pixelated his eyes, so no one will recognize him. Hopefully they will peel of the tattoo´s one by one with a cheese grater, and let him rot in jail.

Nearly every sentence above is complete and utter BS

Actually it's spot on, as I actually lived there 62 years, and still visit and have many relatives and friends still living there. You can only go by a few biased videos which don't compare to actually spending most of your life there, selling guns to many police officials, hearing the daily news, being out on the streets of many towns in many states, and research.

Reality

"..only the very rich can sometimes get away with murder..."  Someone is 'off his rocker' again.

I think the police kill with impunity there and he supplies them with guns.

No, someone knows all about what actually happens in the US and others who've never been there, or only visited, make guesses based on biased videos and some news. I can name quite a few who have beaten the system with good lawyers, OJ being one. Many wealthy people who know someone in high places have reduced or no sentences, while the average Joe stays behind bars for the same offense. The best lawyers money can buy are quite different than an average one or appointed by court one.

Disturbed police kill innocent people yes, but that's because some disturbed people get to be police, a position of power and control some feed off of.

I didn't supply the guns the majority got, just some of them, and mostly personal weapons for them, not their service ones. If you don't understand how this world works sometimes, you sometimes assume others statements aren't true. Some have just had more life experience than others.

Would like to think he will get the death penalty but that is probably just wishful thinking.

Ok, let´s give you a chance. Present your statistics.

I don't know what @fredwiggy's rambling post is about. They seem to be going off on some weird flight of fancy. I wrote about the police murdering people in the USA and getting away with it on a regular basis... and him proudly supplying them with guns.

Yeah, but it was very beautiful thinking
