  • Some parts of the UK have become Islamic enclaves (or should I say 'ghettos').  They need to be taken back into the fold.  If you loath the UK, then go elsewhere, simple as that.   Ask a Mus

  • Only Pakistani and Hamas flags are aloud in these areas just ask Sadiq' Mr two Keir or the local Mayor' through an interpreter🤔

  • I think it's illegal in Thailand to fly another countries except on embassies?   In UK it seems to be illegal to fly the British flag.

It would be peeing down with rain if it was a real photo

So women in the UK don't walk around carrying a huge sword dressed in a Union Jack dress?

There are lions in Britain. Chris Morris made a film about four of them.

Not a strong enough test I'm afraid.

The only people who should be allowed to stay are those who pledge allegiance to one of the legitimate, full-blooded descendants of one of the kings of the original tribes e.g. Celts, Picts, etc.

So, the Anglo-Saxons must be thrown out?  They were immigrants, and now we have to deal with the descendent of these immigrants.

Further, if it were how it was in the 80s and we all got kicked out of here, I could easily stomach it back there. But life in 2020s UK! 🤮

Aside from the flag issues, current invasion infiltration and lack of public services (try getting a quick doctor's appt now), the costs are abhorrent, housing especially bad (owing in part to OTT buy-to-let), it is horribly woke and PC, way too much politics rammed down lone's throat, the TV is cringe and, gawd forbid, there are screechy women commentators on male sports.

You're Alf Garnett, ain't you?

Starmer is becoming more and more rightwing.  Keeps trying to compete with Farage (he of French descent).   Pathetic listening to either of them.

At same time ask a Catholic who their primary allegiance is to: the UK or the Pope. If not the former then remove then from the UK?

Ask the Duke of Norfolk whose family, the Howards from their Arundel estate, have been staunch Roman Catholics for centuries, sometimes in good times and sometimes in bad.The Norfolks stand slightly apart yet at the same time are deeply entwined with the British state. In fact the Duke of Norfolk has the hereditary responsibility to manage great state events like the coronation. He is generally regarded to be the leading Roman Catholic layman - as were his ancestors before him.

He would regard your primary allegiance concern as meaningless and absurd. The same applies to many Muslims and Jews.It is perfectly possible for civilized people to have multiple allegiances.Of course there are always fanatics but they don't make the rules.

On the subject of the St.George's flag of England, introduced by Edward III, representing some crusader in Asia Minor who slays a dragon, there is a much older claim to its origin, which brings us closer to home.

Believe what you will, but at least it is an interesting tale:

Read up on King Richard. England uses 3 lions as it's football team emblem. I will forgive your ignorance of the matter on degrading a woman taking that as a sign of pride of her nationality.

You may also want to look at the official English coat of arms and the lions it contains...........

I am consoled by the fact that most of the people who voted for Starmer will also be the ones who don't have the intellignce or means to move elsewhere and will therefore suffer the consequences of their stupidity.

Most who voted for Labour are net recipients of welfare and government jobs, universal credit and benefits and are also the "undefined" by Labour as "workers". These will be the last to lose out and only once all the other producers and taxpayers have fled or are in the same situation. Race to the bottom anyone?

Nigel Farage.........................can he fix it?

Yes he can  - now he is assembling a credible team.

I'm not sure if he can fix it. He seems to have softened his stance lately - hopefully that's just an attempt to get a few more votes from swing voters.

What I am sure of is that The Tories are useless and Labour are somehow 10x in that they seem to be actively trying to harm Britain. So why not give Reform a try? At least they have people amongst them who have actually been successful in business outside politics, unlike dimwitted career politicians like Diane Abbott who wouldn't last half a shift at McDonalds before being told to pack up her things.

Wrong. The council said they would only remove Palestine flags if they were given police protection. So, Palestine flags remained in place.

If you missed that story I can dig out the link.

Thanks.  The link would be good.

Your last paragraph sums it up really. The willful neglect of the Tories and the shameful performance of Labour have created a political vacuum that Farage is now exploiting. It could be his team and agree entirely with the sentiment of Reform? - why not?

There's some truth to that.

But while these types will continue to get their benefits or government jobs, they will still suffer the same fate as everyone else in terms of seeing their communities changing (for the worse), becoming less safe, the lack of public services, the erosion of the culture into some kind of incoherent mishmash that resembles the illegitimate love child of Birmingham and Islamabad wrapped in a Pride flag.

Not to mention the censorship, the racist DEI policies, the lack of free speech, the 2 tier justice etc.

In other words, no place I could ever consider living. I'm just glad I left when I did. I got the 70's and 80's as a kid, the 90's as a young adult and then left for Thailand in 2006 when it all turned to slop.

Pretty good timing. 😄

The removal of the British and English flags by the councils of Birmingham and Tower Hamlets tells us all we need to know about the people governing those places.

The last 2 Mayors of Birmingham have been Muslims, is it because the Briitish are too lazy to vote otherwise  ?, or a  majority of Residents being Muslims

Because they had the most popular policies?  That's how it normally works.

Shouldn't they be using badgers, hedgehogs or squirrels? You know, animals that are actually common in England?

There are no lions in England. You do realise Richard just had the nickname "Lionheart"?  That's like Nigerians saying Mutumbo has the nickname "Badgerface" and then making badgers the national animal of Nigeria. How does that make any sense???

You snipped my quote with the history of it including the Royal English coat of arms.

Muslims would never vote for a non-Muslim candidate if there was a Muslim candidate available, irrespective of policies.

Therefore given the high population of Muslims in many British cities, plus a few useful idiots on the left, we end up with the likes of little Sadiq Khan in power.

Sadiq Khan easily won both his elections.  Most Londoners did not, and do not, care about his religion.

Yep, all Londoners I know (family who live there, friends I used to work with when I lived there and I keep in touch with) voted for Khan three times. None of them are Muslim or care that he is one. It is a non issue.

The only people who care about his religion are the ones who dislike him because of it. And most of them don't live in London. Plenty of them habit this forum though.

Whilst I suppose to could call him English as he was born in England he spent his adult life in France or on Crusades,

"Though regarded as a model king during the four centuries after his death and viewed as a pious hero by his subjects, he was later perceived by historians as a ruler who treated the kingdom of England merely as a source of revenue for his armies rather than a land entrusted to his stewardship.

The lion is still a better symbol than the French chicken.
