You realise the fine will be re-evaluated? A new fine will be imposed.

An appeal is akin to turning around as you leave the bathroom to see if you remembered to put the toilet seat down.  No big deal... most fail.

This appeal saved Trump $500M

The next, if there is one, will seem him exonerated and have NY paying his legal fees.

LOL.... it's no wonder you are a Trump sycophant.  Having the same poor reading skills as your Dear Leader  has obscured the facts from you.  The conviction was re-affirmed but the large penalty was found to be excessive.

There was no conviction. Quit lying.

10:40 am Eastern Time reported on Fox, the Judgement against Trump has been reversed.

I wanted to be the first one to wave goodbye to a whole bunch of folks.

Winning.

Sorry, that's not quite accurate. The judgement against Trump was not reversed.

The court upheld Engoron’s findings that the president (and his sons) committed fraud.

Accordingly, Trump and his sons are still adjudicated fraudsters. In addition, he is still barred from holding any executive office with a New York company and from getting loans from New York banks for three years. His sons are still barred from executive offices with any New York company for two years.

The only thing that was overturned was the amount of damages he was supposed to pay.

Garbage.  This one is not "most".

You realise that will only happen if James appeals and her appeal is successful?   There is no "will be" about it, you're speculating, the fine was not reassessed to a lower figure by the Manhattan appeal court that just overturned the initial farcical fine.

Still  convicted until he can coerce a different scenario.

Any self respecting politician would stand down until proven innocent

No one has to prove their innocence, the prosecution has to prove guilt!

Any self respecting politician would stand down until proven innocent, but then he is not a politician, just a self proclaimed rich loudmoth that has become the biggest danger to the world in recent history.

The US population have a lot to answer for, glad my time is coming to an end.

You're not responding to the point sandyf made.... you're just toeing Dear Leader's line..... extreme sycophantic behavior.

Time magazine says:

Still, the judges upheld Engoron’s ruling that found Trump liable for fraud and backed Engoron’s other punishments levied against Trump, such as barring Trump from serving in corporate leadership at any New York company for three years, and his sons Eric and Donald Jr. from doing the same for two years.

You should read the decision as opposed to relying on time magazine. When one judge comes right out and says New York engaged in lawfare, and all the rest of the judges Shuffle around with their heads down saying well yeah maybe but, it is the most crushing defeat of a government I have seen in years. Maybe you wouldn't sound so ignorant all the time if you would read The Source documents instead of somebody else's interpretation, which document is at the beginning of this topic

Time is one helluva more trustworthy source than any claim I've ever read from you.  Back up your claim or clam up.  An unofficial comment by a judge means zip.

More than the PDF of the ACTUAL DECISION which I conveniently appended above?. Feel free to read.

I wont embarass you by discussing your "unofficial comment" remark since non Americans dont really understand judicial doctrines.

PS: every comment by the judges that upheld the fraud findings is relevant here. Study how appeals work in NY, once you understand the rules you will understand why and how they cleverly passed the buck.

Of course as far as you are concerned, everyone is lying, except Trump.

At the end of the day international perception will pass the final judgement on US democracy.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr. today announced the all-count trial conviction of DONALD J. TRUMP, 77, for falsifying New York business records in order to conceal his illegal scheme to corrupt the 2016 election. TRUMP was convicted by a New York State Supreme Court jury of 34 counts of Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree. He is expected to be sentenced on July 11.

I guess there was too much latin in the PDF or too many English words of more than two syllables for you to form a clear understanding.  Your Dear Leader has the same problem.

Zardoz

is your Google broken?  Zardoz doesn't exist, even in the unbelievably terrible film where he is mentioned.  I might invent a time machine just so I can go back in time and make sure my younger self doesn't watch it.

My google is fine.   Zardoz does exist, I found photos on the Internet.

Do you dress up like him?

The lack of understanding of the courts is astonishing. Large judgements are frequently reduced. The case will go back to a lower court to determine a new lower penalty. Look for 175 million to match the bond amount. It was a hint by the appeals court the first time.

Zardoz was a fake God created by an Eternal to control a lower strata of the human race.
