I’m looking for recommendations for a professional and reliable dentist in Samut Prakan or the eastern side of Bangkok (Bangna, Srinakarin, Bearing, etc.). Other areas are fine too if the clinic is worth the trip.
 

I’ve been under treatment for mild periodontitis for several years, but I’m no longer satisfied with the care I’ve been receiving. I’m now looking for a professional dentist for:
 

• Periodic deep cleaning / gum treatments

• General dental care (cavities, standard procedures)

 

My insurance plan offers partial coverage for dental expenses, so cost is not my main concern. I value professionalism over finding the cheapest option.

 

If you have personal experiences with a good dentist or clinic, I’d really appreciate your advice 🙏

I have used the Bangkok Dental Hospital, now on On Nut, for many years.

Excellent dentist and facility.

 

Near Third Road and North Road.  Pattaya 

 

Possibly farther than you care to venture 

 

 

The key is to select one of the tiny number of dentists in Bangkok with JCI accreditation. This will ensure they have first world standards. See here.

 

I've used BIDH and they were good.

 

 

I’ve had good luck with Thantakit Dental in Bangkok. They’re really thorough with gum treatments and the place feels very professional compared to a lot of smaller clinics. Not the cheapest, but the care is solid and they explain everything clearly. If you don’t mind the trip, I’d say it’s worth checking out.

Pornsak dental clinic in Sukhumvit soi 49 has been my excellent dentist for 17 years. Gentle, thoughtful, never overtreated or overcharged.

I don't recommend. If you don't get a price before the procedure, expect a surprise bill. They are financial criminals. They did a crown that failed after 6 months due to poor preparation.

Why didn't you obtain a price. 

That's standard procedure. 

 

I disregard your account. 

Have sent several people to them and all had excellent results.

Some for simple procedure such as crown to full reconstruction.

Asavanant on Thonglor in Marche Thonglor. They cater to mainly Thais & longterm expats. Reasonable charges. I've been going there for 22 years.
