A long term tourist I knew on Samui 20 odd Years ago contracted gonorrhea from a masseuse, after receiving oral - a virulent scare that took hospitalisation to clear up, in the end.

There is a likelihood they are obliged to keep your medical details private unless they are applying for a medical extension or an insurance company enquires before payment.  Never heard of anyone being deported for having HIV. Now if you were on overstay they might communicate that!

Not so long ago - say ten years ago - a thread like this would not have been permitted to continue, and it is a measure of how this forum has become something quite different.Some of us have noticed the quiet departure or prolonged silence of some of the the more serious and well informed members - at one time there was quite a sophisticated discussion of politics and the business environment.To avoid any misunderstanding I'm not suggesting there should not be a serious discussion of sexual health issues, but surely not like this.

2 choices:
Live healthy and abstain from sex and it should clear up in 3-5 months
OR
take antibiotics like zithromax and have it cleared up in a week
but then take in the dangers of doing so
you can try the older milder antibiotics but they take a little longer and can be hit or miss
and again same issue as zithromax

Reminds me of a friend who contracted an STI playing the field in Pattaya.

He came out in red spots on his penis.

If you are determined to go DIY take:

 

Zithromax (Azithromycin) 1000mg (min)

and

Cefixime 800mg (min)

 

Together as a single dose.

 

If you go to a clinic They'll give you a single shot of Ceftriaxone instead of Cefixime. (More effective by about 5%).

 

The DIY will give you a mild diarrhoea for 2 to 3 hours, 2 to 3 hours after ingestion.
