Rubbish eh? Who was in charge when the US instigated the 2014 coup. And did not Zelenskyy have to learn Ukrainian, as he was a Russian speaker?

None so blind as those who will not see.

Yes, you would be too if you were born in the Russian controlled part of the country.

I really fail to see what this has to do with anything.

Arnold Schwarzenegger didn't speak a word of English, sorry, 'Murrican, until he came to the US. And yet you chose him to be the governor of California.

You should look at the maps and see what has happened in the last two weeks.

Such as? Keep in mind that around Pokrovsk Ukrainian troops have been pulled from elsewhere. Boots on the ground is a big problem for Ukraine.

Russian controlled parts of Ukraine?? It was Ukrainian. Now it has changed. The provinces to the east are now in Russia. Gradually, the areas of Ukraine, who are pro-Russian, will become Russian.

South coast soon; within 12 months I reckon. Meaning that Ukraine will have no access to the Black Sea.

It is far, far more of an issue that leads far before the day of the russian entry into Ukraine some years ago.

It is as historical and cultural beligerent, that most leaders in Europe or in the USA under Biden, did not bother to chek out.

But one has to admit that both those Russian or Ukrainian gals are real hotties. 🤪

That's your wish. We get it.

Doesn't mean it will happen.

That is NOT logical dude!

You want Ukraine to surrender.

That would not lead to anything fair or just.

You really don't know that?

For anything approaching a fair and just negotiated settlement Putin MUST be forced into agreeing to that.

At this point, he has no interest in that whatsoever.

Another example of your pitiful comments. I have said over and over again I talk about the reality on battlefield movements. It's a neutral stance. Indeed I post Ukrainianian war maps which have a bias in that ground taken by Russian forces is always slow to update. Your childish, uneducated personal attacks are ridiculous.

Have you looked at the drone attack maps on Russian oil infrastructure? Are you so simple minded that actually believe that this war is only about border maps? You are not objective at all. You're pushing a pro surrender narrative.

I was getting at the point of Trump's behavior being explained by the existence of blackmail material.  Blackmail material isn't required to explain Trump's behavior.  I think it's a nutty conspiracy theory and the only reason it hasn't been discredited (for reasons you have listed) is that Putin must be convinced he is winning the war.

Putin probably does think that but he's in a position where he would murder people who give him bad news and ALSO he's in a position where if he loses the war OR doesn't win effectively enough, he's dead. He must win so it doesn't really matter if he believes he's winning or not. I think the reason Trump loves Putin is mostly about Trump's admiration for Putin as in Trump's disgusting mind, Putin acts as a leader should and Putin is the kind of leader Trump hopes to be. Also of course Putin is a trained KGB agent and knows how to play Trump's worship of him very well. Putin really is controlling Trump and that's very embarassing to decent Americans and it has been noticed by Europe who knows the USA is finished as a reliable ally.

Back to reality, Putin is in a much more vulnerable position than the Z fascist propagandists, Russian and western useful idiots realize.

No I am not predicting how the war will ultimately resolve or when (nobody knows that) but I started this topic because Ukraine has effected a momentum change in their direction because of the amazingly quick destruction of 17 percent of Russia's oil refining capacity. How can Russia defend against that? They are so big and that it turns out is a weakness that Ukraine is exploiting.

As I continue to say this is a war of attrition. Both sides will try to attrit each other. Russia has enough oil. Prices going up? Yes. Domestic shortages? Coming soon. Will the Russian war machine run out of fuel? No.

You're just making stuff up in Putin's favor.

You say you're objective.

Anyone can see that you're not.

That's OK but don't lie about it.

You want to back up this slur? I'm sure you won't because you can't. All you do is flap your troll like mouth. Pitiful. Grow up.

This conflict is a result of meddling by the west.**

Since the fall of the USSR, the Americans, and the UK, have been thinking how wonderful it will be, when we eventually carve up Russia, and enjoy the resources that will be there for the taking. Under Yeltsin, that looked a possibility. However; he departed and left this new guy in charge. But the new guy would not bend the knee; and put Russia first. So let the meddling begin. Demonisation and sanctions for starters.

The west, with the US and UK, leading the charge, have done just about all they could since to:

(a) get a regime change in Russia. To destroy the Russian economy, so that the change will come from within.

(b) To weaken Russia by using another country to do the dirty work.

And we are where we are.

I think a better title for this thread would have been "The Ukraine/Russia conflict; who is winning?"

For someone like myself - who has his ear to the ground on this - to see a respected member (OP) posting something that is so obviously incorrect, and dare I say untruthful, sees a sad day indeed.

** Meddling all over as we speak. In Venezuela., Lebanon and Greenland just for starters.

Kremlin narrative 100 percent.

I am not a Trump supporter BTW.

Your joke is not totally irrelevant. Why are EU countries so generous with money towards Ukrainian refugees (and draft dodgers)? Because the money was meant to prevent Ukrainian women from putting out (ruining the waning value of our femihag leaders' pussies on the sexual market).

It's like the whole anti-immigration ruckus in the US. The hidden agenda enemy is note the orange harvester, it's the latina in tight jeans.

In the West, geopolitics is a poor second to sexual politics.

I titled it this way because so many people have bought the Kremlin narrative that it is inevitable that Russia will win the war. No, it is not. In fact Putin had had years and has not accomplished his war goals. Now he wants to play games and make Ukraine give them away. Nice try. No cigar.

The original goal was to make Ukraine a vassal state of Russia.  That failed, and now Putin is stuck in a quagmire.

Zelenskyi was born in 1978 in Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.

You just showing your ignorance, since Ukraine didn't become a sovereign state, free from Soviet occupation, until 1991.

What would you expect him to speak? 'Murrican?

Four oblasts. No NATO. De-Natzification. Elections in Ukraine. The oblasts will be taken by Putin either by force (the war) or by negotiation. More than likely the former..

If you believe the De-Nazification and NATO narrative, I have some meme coins for sale.

well! Seeing as he become 'President Zelensky', it was probably in his interest to learn Ukrainian. He is not even President, but he continues to ruin his country, and send the people to the slaughter.

What is it now? 1.7 million killed or missing.

"De-Natzification"? Seriously, where do get this sheet from? Can you elaborate please...

And I vote YES!, EU membership and NATO for Ukraine once they kick the Russian arse...

Of course Orban, the Russian arse licker will object.
