How many people cross the Channel in small boats?

As of 8 September, 30,164 people had crossed the Channel in small boats in 2025, up from 22,440 for the same period in 2024.

It means more than 50,000 people came to the UK via this route in the 403 days after Labour came to power in July 2024.

That's it ... y'all crying about that :cheesy:

Biden let millions in, and peaked at about 15,000 a day, and that's just the ones they caught.

Trump has deported more criminals in his first 100 day, than UK had people arriving in the last couple years.

Let that one sink in, next time y'all call Trump evil for deporting criminals.

Add the Woman from Rotherham who addressed the crowd naming the leader of the miuslim rapre gang who gang raped her on multiple occastions then got her pregnant at 14 and the Muslim Police officer that joined in he was named too.

I have no problems realizing the actual problem with uncontrollable immigration and immigrants, just made a comment based on where those who where invited came from, where 3 out of 4 comes from where the majority is descendants from immigrants who basically almost managed to erase all natives who had lived there for 10 thousands of years

Do not try and turn this into an American thread its about a March in the UK yesterday KhunLA not about Trumps migration policy take it to your American threads not this one.

The March was not about illegals entering the UK it was aimed at out Goverment driving us into high taxes poverty, two tier policing, and lying to to us, rape gangs, the safety of our kids from Asian grooming gangs, and them being given preference over uk citezens.

Diversity is ok as long as the cultures or similar

Just a comparison for a little reality check.  We're all in this together.   Get the right leaders, and let them MUKGA.

UK used to be a country respected and a force to be reckoned with ... now, well, I'll leave that up to your opinion, as your country.   As many have stated recently on threads, 'glad I don't live in USA' ... right back at you.   If you ain't careful, your grandkids will be living under Sharia Law.

Good Luck, I think y'all are going to need it.

Its difficult for our American members to understand the feelings of out parents have to witness when we see a young English girl sent home because she wore a union flag themed dress to her School cultural day, when girls wearing the Hijab and other head coverings were allowed. How would you feel if you sent your daughter to School in a star spangled banner dress for a day of culture and was sent home in tears for wearing it.

That's main reason I wouldn't never consider visiting UK or EU, let alone retiring there.  So much has changed in such a short time.

Wouldn't return to USA either, but 1st Amendment still lets you say what you what ... usually:coffee1:

Good Luck

UK Councils waste so much money. An example, a distant friend was taken into hospital after a series of minor strokes and finally transferred into a care home even though she could do everything herself but walk.

All this time ( months) her council flat has remained empty and will now be given to a new occupant who can demand a new paint and decoration job.

The nursing homes charge a fortune. This needs to be seriously investigated.

The collapse of extended families is partly to blame for this situation. In the past, old and infirm people would have lived with their children, taken care of by relatives.

Now they wait to die in a care home, frequently lonely and not visited.

Another rant, more relevant to the topic.

What are all these Deliveroo, etc Middle Eastern motorbike riders delivering food, riding bikes with L plates on them, doing?

I thought it was illegal to work commercially as a learner driver.

Yet every driver seems to have L plates.

This is another cost we are having to pay as UK Tax Payers. NHS spends £130k a day on translations for non-English speaking patients

Perhaps they saw what Trump is doing and rejected even Farage when he claimed that "mass deportations are impossible".

And that gave them hope to rise up...

I know you want to keep this about the UK, but you are sounding an awful lot like a Trump supporter.

What amazes me, is how many (I assume Europeans) constantly attacking and trashing Briton, likely the greatest force for human rights in the history of the world.

Why flush it down the toilet?

And if you don't like it, you are a racist xenophobe.

If you don't want your daughters to get raped, put them burkas. <sic>

What European Citizenship ?

You cannot get back something, that you have never had.

There is no such thing as European Citizenship.

You are a Citizen of the Country that gave you a passport.

Why does it amaze you ?

You can see and read, on a daily basis, the amount of people, both in the UK and across the EU, that are still Butt-Hurt that the UK had the temerity to leave the EU.

A record number of Muslims won seats in Britain’s parliamentary elections despite rising Islamophobia, a major Muslim news outlet reported.

A record-breaking 25 Muslims, up from 19 in 2019, were elected to the House of Commons, the lower house of parliament, said the Muslim Network.

Among those elected, 18 are from the Labour Party, four are independents, two are from the Conservative Party and one is from the Liberal Democrats.

The outlet highlighted that Muslim voters’ support for Gaza significantly influenced the election, with five independent candidates, including four Muslims, winning seats.

Noting that 3.4 million Muslims are living in the country, it said the election marks a significant milestone in the UK’s political landscape, reflecting the increasing diversity and the impact of Muslim communities on British politics.

That is funny.

The Government has no idea how many people are in the UK. So how anyone can put a figure on anything, is really quite bizarre.

Not to worry, it will not be diverse for more than 50 years

Yes, some of us have seen the UK slide downwards over a period of 3 decades.

48% of voters are trashing the UK because they left the UK

52% of voters are trashing the UK because politicians are wrecking the UK.

You think? several Muslims are already mayors of several large UK cities among them London, 6% of the population and already they're showing dominance everywhere.

""The wombs of our women will give us victory"

Muslim birthrates in the UK are about 60% greater than non-Muslim birthrates.

You are complaining about many of the same issues T**** supporters are complaining about in the US. No one cares about them either.
