Recommendations for dog boarding / sitting in Jomtien/Na Jomtien

Featured Replies

Any recommendations?   I prefer places without cages, including home sitting, if anyone knows somebody that does this.

I'm in Na Jomtien, with a small, old dog (5 kg), and frequently need someone for both a few hours and a few days, with everything in-between.

Sorry cannot give any specific rec. even though I used to have dogs myself here.

Just a thought, since I see it several times a week, is it worth checking the dog cafe on Pattaya Nua (south bound side  about 200m from Suk) for a recommendation?

There is a 7/11 with extra parking on that corner.

(Sorry I know that is the opposite end to where you are ideally looking)

I'd suggest you try and find a reliable Thai person living in the area who's willing to do the job for you, I gave up on the dog kennels years ago and that's what I do nowadays. Or at least I get the GF to do it for me. If you've got a Thai partner then outsource finding someone to them, otherwise you'll have to ask around - motorbike taxi drivers, the staff where you live if it's in a village, service ladies in the bars you frequent and so on. A lot of them will only be after the money and you'll have to root out those to find the ones who will do a good job for you. Good luck with it.

I would recommend Thai Pet Care, it’s about ½ hour drive north of Jomtien.

I used to use them for stays of longer than a weekend. They were good but I think quite a bit more than 30 minutes from Jomtien.

Go on facebook. (Little dog hotel by Little BeBe) They will answer messages quickly. They're located not far from Budha Mountain. They only do small dogs. They let the dogs roam freely.

You won't be disappointed

I do house and pet sitting both here and overseas. Ex licensed R/E agent, property manager and condominium onsite caretaker who loves all types of pets. I fly out this weekend for a 3 week assignment for an exclusive waterfront property in Sydney AU - 2 whippets and a cat (repeat client - as most are). Have my own website featuring over 30 testimonials, copies of relevant licences and photos. Have my own transport. Non smoker, non drinker, reliable. Just me ever stays as GF is a medical professional with limited spare time. I enjoy property care/cleaning and pet care/exercise/loving. CCTV cameras are no problems. Regular updates and videos provided of your property and pet/s.

And you have a licence and work permit for Thailand?

Work? What are you talking about? Where does it say that I "work" in Thailand?

It is just a question, and it is not me you have to persuade, but I presume the answer is no. Usually things here require some paperwork, or do you provide a free service?

Probably OK  providing the dogs do not play card games as they do in the poster!

Free service, though some of my regular overseas clients insist they pay for my flights!
