Is anyone up for a "Trump Impersonation Contest" ?

It's like the best contest of all time

A lot of people say that

Maybe the best thing of all time

Anyone who says otherwise is fake news

Having you as a judge of humor is like having Stalin as the president of the International Court of Justice.

For some reason the MAGA crowd are overly sensitive about such things.

They'll just have to get over it.

Kimmel what a yawn

Corbet c grade

A bizarre post of only seven words and you can't even spell them all correctly. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Jimmy Kimmel

Stephen Colbert

Jon Stewart

Bill Maher

Richard Pryor

Robin Williams

Chris Rock

John Oliver

And here's the list of funny right wingers:

------

Of course MAGAs don't get it. Slapstick is about as sophisticated as they can get. Maybe fart jokes are high brow to them.

Heck we even have someone here who thinks his screen name is funny because if one says it quickly, it sounds like a prurient word for a woman's body part. I bet he even thinks he's the first non-1st Grader to think of it.

What about that weird, slack-jawed orange MAGA messiah appearing as an obese, one-man sh*t-show of comedy, the likes of which the world has never seen before?

Dreadful

I guess all of the most well known is left or liberals. Comedians useally have a high functioning brain and high IQ.

Mention a few successful right-wing comedians?

Shane Gillis, Theo Von, and Andrew Schulz, Joe Rogan

He was registered as a Democrat but would go after anyone if they didn't match his agenda. Trump would surely have been torn down by him.

Robin Williams may have been the greatest genius of all comedians.

Did he talk about politics? I can't remember.

I don't recall him doing it.

There clearly is a difference in brains between left and right as right humour for me that I've heard is either oafish, or predictable, or weird.

Keep in mind being anti Trump and being funny doesn't mean being lefty - it means you see humour in his silliness and often in many of his supporters.

I will say there are some so called lefties that could do better.

I like Jon Oliver but once you get his schtick it does get very predictable.

Colbert seems a really nice guy but often his punchlines are pretty weak.

Jon Stewart often hits the spot. Bill Maher does if he's not trying to prove how right he is about everything.

But many comedians I like aren't political but I am guessing they aren't fans of Trump but anything's possible.

Jimmy Carr

Rarely mention politics

Is Bill Maher a "comedian"?

Seems like he is more of a political analyst who uses comedy.

Same with Jon Stewart.

Talk show hosts pretending to do comedy. Stewart is better imo

George Carlin - hands down. On stage and recorded - "The American Dream". RIP George. Wish you were here now!

Objectively the vast majority of successful American comedians are either left of center or don't do politics (or much of it) in their work.

So a better question is which American comedians do you find funny?

Fair point - hard to identify left if they don't talk about it. On Bill - as is well documented he's gone a  bit more to the right - he says it's because the left is more crazy which has a bit of merit but I think his examples of left craziness are the lowest of low hanging fruit normally to do with idealistic students or people on the extreme who have little to do with average Democrats. But he has a lot of strings to his bow - his stand up specials and Club Random podcast thing is often non political - he did that movie too lambasting religion.

he had woody allen on the club random podcast recently.

only a few minutes, but woody did bash trump.

He talks Trump with everyone! The guy has Trump DS big time. I like real podcasts. Rich Roll is good.

I think most everyone discussed that i am familiar with has been funny, certainly Kimmel has been.

And there have been plenty of great political jokes, including Trump jokes. But the constant political cr*p is tiresome when it is not actually funny.

When people clap at what are supposed to be jokes, they are not funny.

Do you honestly think a cartoon of Trump with a micro-co*k dancing around is funny?

Would you think a cartoon of Obama’s face with big ears on a gorilla jumping around would be funny?

None of the aformentioned can hold a candle to the , intelligence, wit and side splitting humour of Greg Gutfeld.
