Villagers in Lopburi, Thailand, are demanding swift intervention after a 20-year-old man was accused of repeatedly abusing animals. The alarm was raised following a video's circulation, which showed the man assaulting a female dog in Wang Khon Khwang, Khok Samrong district. The footage, initially shared privately, has sparked widespread concern within the community.

The man allegedly has a history of not only targeting dogs but also chickens, cows, buffalo, and ducks. Despite previous prosecutions, he was released due to what authorities noted as psychiatric traits. This history has heightened residents' fears that he could also pose a threat to vulnerable community members, including children and the elderly.

According to a resident, disbelief and fear have prevented formal complaints until now, despite repeated incidents like the theft and assault of a chicken. The Watchdog Foundation, an animal welfare group, is urging anyone with evidence to come forward. Their stance is clear: a psychiatric claim does not exempt one from liability unless legally declared by a court.

The foundation emphasized the severity of these acts, deeming them serious criminal offenses. They have committed to pursuing the case relentlessly, aiming for the maximum punishment while safeguarding animal rights and preventing future incidents.

Villagers are increasingly anxious and have appealed to local authorities for immediate intervention to prevent further danger. The community remains tense as they await decisive action from officials.

Key Takeaways

  • A man in Lopburi is accused of multiple animal abuse cases, increasing community fears.
  • Despite previous legal action, the individual remains a concern due to alleged psychiatric issues.
  • An animal welfare group is urging evidence submission and emphasizes the legal accountability of the accused.

Abusing animals is just one step closer to abusing humans. Lot of disturbed animals abusers in this country, which starts at home.

Yes indeed. I wonder what drives men to indulge in bestiality when there are so many attractive women around ?

I think this also, and have seen a couple of Thais who make me extremely uneasy in how they interact with kittens. It's like they go out seeking these small animals.

Life itself isn't as important as it is in the west. Treating animals like many do shows how they were raised, and it will repeat forever until they understand the worth of a life, from domestic animals to humans.

How about bringing another psycho to that village.

And let him take care of that brutal thug?

Very true.

They should finish off that so* before too late.

How about bringing in another psycho to that village?

And let him take care of that thug.

No charges against him on the ground of his lunacy.

Evil being eliminated for good,  and no one goes behind bars.
