All just a tempest in a teapot. A company disciplining an employee for spreading false information and exposing the company to the wrath of their investors/sponsors/customers. 

 

I used to find Kimmel mildly amusing, before he went all political. Now, instead of laughs, he goes for "clapter" instead. People agreeing with him rather than just being entertained.  

Trump wants to deprive him and hundreds of others of their jobs, Kimmel said. Trump celebrates "when Americans lose their jobs—just because he can't stand jokes." He added that what's important is not the show itself, but the freedom to put it on.

 

And yes, the authoritarian, fascist Trump government is a fact.

Not at all. Trump and his not-so-merry band of clowns chipping away at democracy will continue unabated. Even if the Dems manage to win the midterms it might not be enough to prevent lasting/permanent damage.

I loved the fake tears of Kimmel, at least he's discovered his acting talent again, even if his monologue was short on comedy.

I have no trouble with PM Carney wanting to Make Canada Great Again.  Disagree that getting closer to Europe is a great idea. I prefer an independent policy and going all out to exploit our natural resources, as well as fast tracking pipelines and energy production.

He's a comedian. It's not a news show.

It's also false to say he lied.

He only said what maga was doing and at the time of he did that show there were a lot of theories that the shooter was linked a right wing group.

He did come from a maga GUN NUT family.

It's funny how the magas ignore the gun aspect of all these types of incidents regardless of what motivated the shooter.

I know he said that MAGA types were desperately trying to prove he was anything but MAGA,

which is not saying that he was MAGA.

It was a statement about what the MAGA types were doing, not a statement about the Kirk shooter.

 

He said that the "Maga gang" were "desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them" and trying to "score political points from it".

He WAS a comedian but became a left wing political mouthpiece with his show.  It's not false to say he lied...you saying he didn't lie doesn't prove squat.  He has spouted off many misleading facts during his tenure on his show.
