359 GBP was cheapest,but far worst , 398 was good Hainan airline,, couple of days in PEK ,good place,to get accustomed to heavenly  delights,cheap hotels and maidens

    I'm doing Hainan in county court for couple of grand,cancelling my flight,ignored all court correspondence,by default I got judgement ,but getting 8% while they throw tantrums,do not know it yet but I'm doubling down on first judgement for cancelling second flight too,love Chinese airlines,took china eastern for a grand a year or so ago

Commenting on the post title, (which seems to be about cheap plane tickets from the UK to Bangkok),  I recently flew from Gatwick to Bangkok for 285 pounds with Turkmenistan Airlines, with a stop for 2 hours in Ashgabad.

 

The flight was almost deserted (wonder why!), the cabin crew were as miserable as hell, but the plane itself and flight were fine 🙂

Pretty good price and a decent stopover. Has anyone else used this airline?

I assume it was single fare, mine above were return,    Dublin to Brussels airport onwards to bkk was about that price return a few weeks ago using Chinese airline UK to Dublin single foot passenger 8 quid using ferry  2 hours sailing 24 hours  morning flights ok,return night flights too are ok

You say you love Chinese airlines but you have a court case against Hainan?

Sure,plane ride damned good coming/going back cancelled twice,I'm ok with it tho,whack 'em on line county court,cost me 400 to get back Cathy Pacific, total they owe me now is over 2000 from last April,and doubling that amount as I write this,bailiffs are about to descend on terminal 4 at lhr   I like lay overs PEK,get yer plums polished cheaply

Got a right good jellied eel of an apple and pair to Chinatown, and am getting a wedge from the beak plus a donkey from Cathay as they cancelled me boiled tripe so I was well pearly.

I’d love to visit Ashgabat and spend a couple of nights. I bet flights from Thailand are pricey though.

12 flight to Hainan ,  five hour stop over and then  four hour flight to BKK

For 100 Quid extra, you can get a direct flight to BKK

I was chatting to a pal recently, freshly back from Chine (Chengdu and Peking), and he was complaining that he, as a foreigner, was not allowed to partake in the nightlife, and complained he couldn't get any of his phones to work there.
