Unable to load Asean Now on a Android phone

Featured Replies

I am unable to load the site on my Android Phone (Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro runnimg Android 7) using the Chrome Browser.

This has been  an intermittent problem in the past. It has rather rturned with a vengeance. The visual "symptom" is that the loading status bar stalls about 10% of the way across, and eventually I get the "cloudfare gateway time out" screen.

I have tried clearing the browsing history. The site then loads, requiring me to sign in again. Omce signed in, if I attempt to change forums the same thing happens.

Have you any suggestions?

AI Overview

The current stable version of Android is Android 16, which was released on June 10, 2025. Android 16 is the latest major release, building upon previous versions to enhance user experience with improvements to accessibility, security, media, and camera capabilities.

A phone running Android 7, jeez that is about 6 years outdated.

You realize that apps, chrome browser is an app, are optimized to the latest API level, and that after updating they may stop functioning properly on older API's.

The latest Chrome version, requires Android 10 or higher
