Its unfortunate but I feel as a community member I had to write this 

Spending a whole day in my room writing complaints 

 

The Red down thumb

I noticed some people are overusing it possibly making posters feel uncomfortable 

 

Could I perhaps ask the person doing it to have some dignity and respect and be aware many of us suffer PTSD myself not only being attacked by a ladyboy but also a monkey earlier this year up in Lopburi where I was slapped on the back of the head and despite Lopburi police department being a big police station I wasnt taken seriously and forced them to finally send a patrol car out there .

 

So I may repeat about the use of the Red down thumb please it can cause posters anxiety and even depression

Unfortunately it's 5 pages long , I'm still writing it 

Perhaps there should be a limit of two or three a day per user, then if you post a lot then it won’t seem like much.

Only the best most truthful posts are worthy of the thumbs down. If your post doesnt get at least 10 thumbs down you need to try harder

Don't worry about the posters using the red thumb down, they're just losers the best I can ascertain. They're hunched over their laptop in their 25M hellhole with no relief in sight.

Don't despair, the Mods are on top of it, doing a good job catching out these thumbs down members 

 

Hopefully, if they see more of these comments from the Mods, it should curtail their bad behaviour

Oh, Georgina, all this moaning and whining about thumbs. I reckon you should pull your own thumb out and finally get on with it. And if you want some real PTSD then go squat over a mirror and have a good look at your own anoose.

Yes, but most of those 50 were justified, we see things differently 

I am very different to most here commenting. 

 

I'm PRO Thailand, I call out the whinging and whining, I received thumbs down. I'm OK with that.

What is unacceptable when members scroll through a thread and repeating willy nilly thumbs down on every comment I make, just for the sake of it

I judge my thumbs down as medals of honour. Shows I spoke the truth.

A red thumbs down is meaningless, no reason to stress over it.

I'm still getting over the April attack where I was slapped on the back of the head by a monkey I was feeding in Lopburi and the subsequent police inefficienty in dealing with it 

 

Only after I complained to the Tourist police division was action taken finally coming out to my hotel room around 9pm that night to take a statement and I must say the officer they sent out was very sympathetic and very polite his English was good
