What is wrong with the USA and its people? Why are they so intent on killing each other and engaging in idiotic accusations when it occurs? It truly has become a primitive uncivilized nation of savages. No one is safe. It is not an urban thing either. Just a few days ago,  a 32 year old tourist was killed in a drive by shooting in Sheboygan, WI while on a golf holiday. He  had just welcomed his first child in August. The town is mostly white and has a population of 8,600.

Church shootings  are a characteristic of the USA. You don't see the frequency in the Nordic European countries. UK, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, etc.   And people wonder why visitors are avoiding the USA.

All sides have their whackjobs.

 

The important thing is when we see if anyone's celebrating the act, out protesting his arrest, or hitting the pulpit trying to raise bail for him.

Here's a little exercise for you...  Google "Homeowner shoots intruder"    I count stories from about 100 different dates.

 

Then extrapolate that to all the times the homeowner scares off an intruder, but doesn't have to shoot.  Which is probably much more common, but never reported.  Because, why would they?

The New Zealand Mosque attack was perpetrated by an Australian who had serious flags because of his travel etc and should not have been allowed into New Zealand.

 

The NZ police issued him with a firearms licence in direct contravention of the Firearm Licence requirements and have spent huge resources covering it up. No police officer or employee has been held publicly accountable.

 

Licensing is pointless, responding to the red flags that these criminals put up is the only effective response.

It's simple but some Americans don't get it.  They say, like the poster Impulse above, 'Think how many home robberies, car jackings are stopped because the home/car owner has a gun'. 

But if you make strict gun laws where possession means a looooong prison sentence then the attacker ain't gonna have a gun- as is the case in the rest of the Western world. 

Obviously this won't stop knife crime, but the fact is loonies with guns can cause far more deaths than a crazed knifeman can. 

The only way to stop this killing of many innocents is to ban all guns from the general population.

 No one said that they did not occur elsewhere.what was written was;

The sad reality is that there have been 3 significant  events over the past 3 years  Prior to that, for the past decade there was at least one a year, although some years did have 2 or 3. This is not indicative of a civilized society. The shootings became noticeable after 2000. Before 2000, they were rarities.The USA  has a society has been rotting for decades, like the decline and fall of the Roman Empire. Trump is not the cause. He is a symptom of the disease, an opportunistic infection.
