Yeah instead of being a mean man in public he was <deleted> our country over quietly.

I'd characterize Obama as the most disappointing president ever, even if he wasn't the worst.

I was thrilled when he was elected on a promise of increasing transparency in gub'ment.  Not so thrilled when he won a 2nd term after doing exactly the opposite for 4 years.

In fact, he likes it when idiots don't.  That means he's pissing off the right people.

And there's me thinking a good leader should try to unite the country rather than pissing people off with  immature points scoring. Yet another reason not to respect him. I guess we've seen the end of any consensus in the U.S.

Unfortunately Trump always plays by the rules. He does not have the dictator instinct.

Are you, as they say, taking the p**s?😂

How?

He had his people seize the Capitol. All he had to do was make a few phone calls to well placed military and police leaders.

March triumphantly to the Capitol. Seize power. March on Rome? No history here at all?

We can both play the stupid AI game.

According to recent reports from September 2025, left-wing extremist violence has become a renewed problem in Portland, specifically targeting an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility. While the total level of left-wing violence remains much lower than its historical peak decades ago, the frequency of incidents in 2025 has increased and, according to one analysis, has even outnumbered attacks from the far right for the first time in over 30 years.
Key details on recent left-wing violence in Portland:
  • ICE facility targeted: In the months leading up to September 2025, protesters, some identified as Antifa-aligned, have engaged in frequent and sometimes violent demonstrations at Portland's ICE facility.
  • Escalating tactics: Attacks on the federal building and federal agents have included assaults, property destruction, and threats. In early September 2025, protesters erected a guillotine outside the facility, and death threats were posted.
  • Federal response: In July 2025, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported that rioters were doxing federal officers, posting personal information and threats. Following the heightened activity, DHS announced in late September 2025 that it had arrested dozens of "Antifa-aligned left-wing violent extremists" across the United States for offenses including assaulting law enforcement.
  • Threat of troop deployment: Citing the situation in Portland and other cities, President Donald Trump announced in late September 2025 that he would send federal troops to Portland to handle "domestic terrorists," though local officials stated no troops were needed.
  • Context of national trends: An analysis from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) noted that while left-wing violence had increased nationwide since 2016, 2025 marks a notable spike. Attacks from the far right, by contrast, declined in 2025.

I don't recall Trump treating Joe Biden with any respect. Not now, nor when he was President. Did he treat those Hyundai workers helping to build his factory?

His childish name calling and abuse to those around him perceived as not loyal, and his bullying of other heads of state shows exactly what type of man he is. I doubt many of them respect him, neither as man or President.

In fact I would love to be a fly on the wall to hear what is said about him behind closed doors by those same heads of state. I bet it isn't what he thinks it might be.

I wish he had tried. At a minimum he would have been in jail. At a minimum.

Did they do what DC did and change their definition of a "violent crime" where a carjacking by a roving gang is no longer counted as "violent" if they didn't pull out a gun?

Because that's the lefty way of reducing crimes.  Change the way you define them.

Petty theft and public disturbances are common...  Do they mean store takeovers by roving gangs, burning buses and assaulting ICE officers?

Without you quoting the question you asked of the AI your post means nothing.

You know very well when the January 6th uprising happened in 2021 he could have seized power by force. Instead he told the protesters to disperse.

Did he play by the rules or not?

Mussolini would have been at the Capitol seizing power. Trump has too much to lose.

please enlighten us and tell us exactly what he said, in my book what he said was anything but withdraw or disperse, maybe we didn't see the same man

But he's not demanding respect.  He couldn't care less if they respect him.  In fact, he likes it when idiots don't.  That means he's pissing off the right people.

He's demanding they "don't talk to me that way" with an implied "while you're addressing the president of the USA".    It's his duty to protect the institution of the presidency.

In this case what idiotic question was he being asked?

YES!

You must remember that you are trying to use facts and logic to an ardent Trump supporter!

Enough said IMO!

In TrumpWorld.....ANY question asked is idiotic. He cannot accept responsibility.
