I had a friend who worked in child care and he had to get vaccinated but refused and lost his job. Went all radical after that. I do kind of wonder if the argument forcing him to get vaccinated was really that strong. You gotta see it for what it is and not throw out the benefits of vaccines though, including covid, with a few policy decisions in some places that may not be perfect.

Optional vaccination for kids to attend school in Florida - for measles, mumps, chickenpox, polio, and hepatitis - is a big concern. See what happens with that.

I really can't imagine someone coming on a topic like this with so much ignorance of the topic in hand. Many people can't be vaccinated (including children) because they are seriously ill (think children with cancer for example) or have a weakened immune system. Herd immunity (requiring anything from 90-95% of people being vaccinated) means that enough people in a group or area have achieved immunity (protection) against a virus or other infectious agent to make it very difficult for the infection to spread, especially to those that cannot be vaccinated.

I think I learned this when I was 12.

Monumental Hogwash Sir. You do not know what you are talking about.

I think you were TOLD that when you were 12 not that you learned it.

Why and for who should 'optional vaccination for kids to attend school ' be a big concern?

# First and foremost we have the parents of those children

And those parents that have doubts or are vehemently opposed to vaccination, will now have the freedom of choice instead of having their kids vaccinated in order to attend school.  And those parents that believe in the benefits of  innoculating their children will still be able to do so.

# The vaccine manufacturers

Obviously they prefer a mandatory child vaccination scheme, as it means guaranteed business for them.  Providing the public with a choice will lead to - oh horror - 'vaccine hesitancy' (the secret driver behind that concern, being the impact on their bottom line).

Just look at the miniscule current uptake of Covid-19 boosters and annual flu-shots.  Even when stoking up the fear and providing the shots for free, they have a hard time getting people to roll up their sleeves (especially those that have now seen or experienced the harms of those shots in themselves or loved ones).

you were not forced. You had a choice and could have declined and left for different employment if you felt that strongly about your personal health or did they hold you down and jab you?

Because new jobs were so easy to find during the shutdowns, right?

I can't honestly blame the parents 100% for allowing poison to be injected into their little kids. They have come under extreme propaganda for decades; that vaxxes are the way to keep yer kids healthy.

But!! The evidence is now out there. There is no need to stay stupefied and ignorant any longer.

The people I have most dislike/disdain for is the compromised white-coats in the (mostly 3 letter) health agencies. When stuffing yer pocket with dollars is more important that keeping millions of kids healthy the country is in deep doo-doo. The UK as well. Europe as well. But they only do what the US says.

My message to Kennedy; 4 years seems like plenty of time, but it will be over in a flash. Get stuck in man, and save the next generation of kids.

Indeed! I make you right Sir; reluctantly.

However, perhaps the move will ensure that Pfizer actually adheres to some 'gold standard' lab procedures.

Does Kennedy know what he has to do? Only hope he has a political game plan. Is he himself compromised, and can be got at, like i reckon his boss is?

that has nothing to do with vaccines.

it's about bringing down the costs of pharmaceuticals.

you can't just get rid of pharmaceuticals. they are needed by many people because it takes intense effort to avoid disease and most people do not have the discipline to stop smoking, to stop over-eating, to exercise 6 times a week.

and even with precautions, sometimes health issues are inevitable.

if you try hard enough, you won't need to be on pharmaceuticals. And RFK Jr. won't force you to take statins, last time I checked.

But it's possible / likely that the study that linked vaccines to autism was fraudulent, as I discussed in the other thread.

And many parents may be basing decisions not to vaccinate their children on fear-mongering.

I have a devout Christian friend who believes your souls connection to God is inside your DNA. He believes Satan's plan is to break that connection to God and harvest those souls, has always been his plan for eternity. Personally I'm not religious but I am spiritual so maybe in some way he may be correct. They sure did seems to be very keen for all of us to take the mRNA safe and effective didn't they? The conventional theory says it was purely financial greed and naturally control rolled in there too.

Even modern day science still call over 90% of our DNA junk? Is it really? Doubt it's junk, more a case of we haven't figured out what it does yet.

So given that, are you willing to risk your souls eternal damnation [never mind all the SADS, turbo cancers and heart problems] for the sake of a common cold. Religion aside, I'll hedge my bets and continue to take a pass on any experimental gene therapy thanks. You never know he might be right?

If you have a device and internet connection, there is no need to be in the dark any longer. The facts are out there for all to see. Can't say 'I didn't know' any more. But that's a job for parents.

At the top level we should ask; 'Is Kennedy the man?' He has the power; but his task is massive. Has to undo 120 years of quackery in just 4 years. And Is he indeed, brave enough? Remembering what happened to his uncle and dad.

People had a choice, it may not be ones you like but no one was held down and jabbed  or threatened with arrest if they didn't get a vaccine. To present moral outrage now is a little late. If people are that adamant then they should have stood up for it at the time.

Depends on the vaccination.

Polio should be mandatory, but not flue or Covid.

Think it's on about monkeypox vaccinations 🙂

More than 100 years ago the Austrian mystic, philosopher, occultist, social reformer, architect, esotericist, and clairvoyant  Rudolf STEINER wrote this uncanny prediction about vaccines.

If someone is seriously ill, should they be in public?

I can recall the days of the late 50s and the 60s. We certainly seemed more cheerful than kids of today. Lads playing football at every opportunity. Girls playing hopscotch. There wasn't a phone at Mum's home until 20 years ago. Transport was pretty cheap, and we would go away to seaside places or to the forest every now and again.

If Neil, Buzz and the others had not walked about on the moon, would it have made us less content now?

Move forward to today; 2025. Are we happier? Has all the tech progress made us happier than back then? Even 18 years ago, when I first came to Thailand, there would be kids playing in the soi outside. Don't see them now.

Personally, I get my pleasure from helping my beautiful daughter tread a pathway, where she has a real chance of happiness in the future. When she shows me a pic of a butterfly, or snail, shat she has captured with the camera, I feel good. And I like it when a cat crawls onto my torso and falls asleep.

So! What's it really all about? When you are happy with your lot, perhaps that's the best you can hope for. is that enough? For me yes. Maybe not for others.

Does a vaccine make one happy? Does having multiple vaccines destroy our unique relationship with nature? Judging by some posts on this platform; I'd say yes.
