Blue Cities That Underreport Crime
Some cities, often led by more liberal administrations, have been accused of underreporting crime statistics. This trend can stem from various political, social, and economic factors, including the desire to project a positive image or to avoid criticism.

Factors Behind Underreporting
Political Pressure: Local governments may face pressure to show improvements in public safety.
Resource Allocation: Budget constraints can lead to understaffed police forces, affecting how thoroughly crimes are recorded and reported.
Community Relations: Efforts to foster better relationships between law enforcement and communities might lead to more leniency in reporting crime.
Examples
Here are some cities often cited in discussions about potential crime underreporting:

San Francisco    High property crime rates, concerns over reported vs. actual incidents    Policies aimed at reducing charges for non-violent crimes may affect reporting

Seattle    Increases in drug-related offenses reported but questions around overall crime stats    Efforts to address homelessness have influenced crime response

Chicago    Violent crime underreported in certain demographics    High-profile crime incidents raise concerns about overall reporting accuracy

Conclusion
The conversation around crime reporting is complex and deeply intertwined with local politics, community dynamics, and public perception. These instances highlight a broader discussion about transparency and accountability in crime reporting.

Why would someone travel across the planet 2-3 times a year and then complain about the price of eggs?

How many Thai people can afford to fly across the planet 2-3 times a year?

You're living a privileged life and still complaining.

Most Westerners are never happy, always complaining, and always want more and more and more.

Your argument has nothing to do that prices in the US haven't fallen.

But trump will fix it - just stick to his lies and follow him blindfolded. Hail the orange messiah.

This thread is not about Thailand or Thai people, It's about the lying incumbent in the US, who lies whenever his lips are moving, and the US population affected by this.

Your 'blue cities underreport crime' claim is pure spin.

  • No hard proof: You’re repeating vague accusations with zero verified stats or audits.
  • Selective framing: You single out Dem cities while ignoring the same issues in red ones.
  • Real causes: Gaps stem from staffing shortages or FBI system changes — not politics.
  • Circular sourcing: Duck.ai isn’t research; it’s a bot regurgitating unsourced web text.

You’re quoting an echo chamber and calling it evidence.

Using gas as a indicator of inflation is a pretty futile argument since gas fluctuates based on about three dozen different factors, with all respect please try again and try being a bit more realistic and believable in your argument.

You lied and claimed every commodity way more expensive, I just pointed out that gas was cheaper.

Now you’re lying again by pretending I was talking about inflation.

You lied incessantly, and howl about Trump lying.

So you say.  Trump is President so the USA has something positive to go on.

You're confusing the CPI with actual inflation, it's not just my personal viewpoint it's the same with virtually all my friends and family in America, they're constantly going on and on about how price rises do not seem to be stopping, nor does anything seem to be coming down, as advertised.

You should start your own inflaton tracker.

Crime is underreported, but not just in Washington, D.C., where Trump claims data is inaccurate

When I said “Trump was doing a great job, but he needed to play hard-ball”.

You responded with WTF

I pretended that you did not understand what hard-ball meant, when it was clear you were just another Trump hating leftist.

But you were right and I was wrong.

You are also really smart, and I am stupid, so clearly I am no match for your intellectual prowess.

This one kind of sums up how dramatically Trump has diminished the military, in a mindless effort demanding absolute fealty.

Why did you not care when Biden fired all the Trump appointments?

Or  when Obama fired all the Bush appointments?

Why is it just the end of the world now?

One of the big mistakes Trump made in his first term was not firing all the Obama appointees. Live and learn,
