Bangkok police have arrested a 39-year-old man known online as “Doctor Golf” for allegedly selling and injecting crystal methamphetamine (ice) to clients during sex sessions. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Bureau’s Narcotics Suppression Unit detained him and a 40-year-old woman at a short-stay hotel in Khlong Tan, Bangkok, on 7 October 2025, seizing drugs, injection equipment, and hundreds of explicit video clips found on his mobile phone.

Police identified the suspects as Mr. Komonun (alias “Doctor Golf”) and Ms. Paveena, who were taken into custody following an undercover sting operation. Komonun faces multiple charges of possessing and distributing Category 1 narcotics, crystal methamphetamine, for commercial purposes. His alleged accomplice faces similar possession charges. Officers seized seven key pieces of evidence, including 7.2 grams of ice, injection syringes, Viagra tablets and two mobile phones containing 283 explicit clips.

According to investigators, Komonun promoted his illegal activities on social media by presenting himself as a “doctor” who offered a so-called “ice injection service” directly to clients in their beds. He reportedly catered mainly to members of the LGBTQ+ community, who wanted to combine drug use with sexual acts and allegedly recorded the sessions without consent to post them online. Police said the suspect had built a following and clientele of more than 100 regular customers in Bangkok.

An undercover operation was launched after authorities traced the online advertisements. Officers posed as clients and booked his “injection service” at a hotel in Khlong Tan. During the sting, the suspect arrived with prepared syringes filled with liquid crystal meth and began mixing doses before being apprehended. He later admitted to hiding additional drugs in a nearby apartment in Soi Pridi Banomyong 42, where more narcotics and packing materials were found.

Komonun confessed to all charges, admitting he had been imprisoned three times for theft, procuring minors for prostitution, and drug offences. He said he turned to dealing drugs after his release less than a year ago, targeting customers for higher income. He added that he developed his “ice injection during sex” service to attract clients and filmed the encounters to gain online attention.

Ms. Paveena denied involvement, claiming she had only allowed him to stay temporarily in her room and was preparing to work overseas. Police, however, believe she was complicit after finding evidence linking her to the stored drugs. Both suspects have been handed over to Khlong Tan Police Station for further legal proceedings.
