Why is Trump rarely called out on his hypocrisy?

He was against it from the get. He did it out of spite.

and trump did say that to Kelley a man who lost his son that is sick in a really really deep way.

Again, this is a lie, and there is no evidence that it is anything but a lie.

Kelly said it after he was fired, and the 35 other people at the ceremony said they did not hear it. And it was ridiculous that Trump would say such a thing given the circumstances.

So, Trump and 35 other people say he did not say it, and one guy that Trump fired says he did, so you run along like a good leftist and keep regurgitation the lie, because it's all you have.

and yeah the publishers IMHO would not have written the comments unless there was irefutable evidence and those making the statements also didn't want their names published as DJT is well known for suing people even when he has no standing.  I personnally believe he made those comments IMHO but whether you believe them or any of the lies that he tells, that is your choice.

Just like the Repubicans have fought against Obama care but even after all these years, where is the Republican Health Plan?  now they have written the death knell for wiping out health care for over 10 million people in the Big beautiful bill!

Why was a "new" health plan needed?

The cost of healthcare in the US has gone up at twice the rate of inflation, and, in my opinion, technology notwithstanding, healthcare and access to it (except for the rich and subsidized poor) have gotten nothing but worse since the Affordable Care Act.

It costs more, and it is worth less. Thank you Obama.

I agree with your assessment but what can one do to survive a bad illness or expensive treatment since the govt won't regulate it.  I just did an assessment of my health insurance and stated a means of improvement IMHO was for the insurer to regulate costs based on country in which one resides.  I note that some international insurers locally provide insurance except will not cover treatment in the US.  Speaks volumes for itself.  I personally do not see how US citizens at home can afford the health insurance nor any illness so stuck between a rock and a hard place IMHO.  At the same time utilities are zooming up especially electricity near the new AI plants.  Only thing going down in cost seems to be gasoline...I note too that the Chinese besides passing on soybeans, for several months now have passed on Billions of oil products.  Guess those tariffs will make someone rich while making others extremely poor.

Yeah?  just like the latest Trump suit about a comment on his wife (or her suit) not against the person who actually has published a book with that comment but someone mentioning that book's comment which means that Trump knows that the author of the book has proof so has not gone after him even though many comments about Trump and his wife were in the book.  Seems those comments must be true also...IMHO I think they are spot on!  But you of course seem to believe DJT wouldn't even lie! That is the real "hoot" IMHO.

First ask yourself why Biden and his son was not called out? I am ignoring Biden's little group as I am sure they played a big roll is the mis-doings of the Biden family.

So, you are not from the US.

I got along fine without health insurance until I was about 40 in the US, as a lot of people did.

And most decent jobs came with great medical insurance, but overregulation took a big toll, and then insurance really turned to sh*t with the Affordable Care Act.

Insurers outside the US will not sell you a policy good in the US, because they would be compelled to accept preexisting conditions.

Renewables are what is largely what is driving electricity costs up.

wrong, I was born in the USA, grew up there, am a VN vet (66-74) love the USA, have taken that oath to the US Constitution and I unlike the president understand what that means, thus  that plus his heel spurs (I too had heel spurs prior to my military) definitely affect my feelings towards him.   But , just like an a%$hole, each of us has an opinion too and they in many instances are different from others.  As for health insurance, I have NEVER even at 78 ever had any illness so never filed a claim though I have been paying forever it seems and now costs are zooming 13% last year and 13% for next year.  Best of luck!

Why do you assume the president does not know what taking an oath to the Constitution means?

I graduated high school in '75 so I missed Viet Nam, tried to join the Marines but they would not take me,

I have had countless claims with and without insurance and have always been treated.

The only insurance I have now is Medicare.

I transferred from California to Thailand full time for work in 2000. AS part of my compensation I got four personal trips a year back to the States, I used to feel like kissing the ground when I got off at LAX. Those days are gone.

The hypocrisy is amongst all those western leaders of state, mainly those from the European Union who are licking his boots. Those who saw the circus in Egypt for the Gaza issue know what it's all about. Even Trump is openly laughing at how foolish most european nations are in bowing down. Europe will continue to decline is putting all it's eggs in the basket of america, and doing so even before Trump came to power. Look at the other countries that refuse to bow down to america, they are doing either ok or doing very well.

Trump absolutely hates a war hero as it reminds him of everything that he's not. He's not a man of courage, he's not a man of conviction, he's never done anything for his nation and it's all about power and money for him. It's never about loyalty and a sense of duty.

In one of his interviews earlier this year I saw and heard him say about the constituion " I am not sure what that means!"

The USMC is a fantastic bunch of people.  I have partied and exercised with some of the Marine guards overseas.  Some were VN vets too and most are a very special breed of patriots IMHO.  Yeah health insurance from what I hear from family in the US is really crazy now and I agree with what they say - our hospitals, doctors and pharmas are just too greedy and in the end IMHO they will ruin too many families.

I do not believe that hospitals, doctors and pharmaceutical companies are any greedier than any other business.

The people I think are greedy, are the people that take money from one group of people to buy votes from another group of people.

Yeah totally agree with your statement - GREED seems to be prevalent everywhere nowadays.  As for buyong of votes, that  too is a big problem in the US IMHO as the SuperPACs feed both party candidates' campagin chests since and as soon as elected, begin campaigning for the next election.  Corruption at all levels too some open such as insider trading since they even have a hard time flooring any anti-trading for members and their families.  Yeah, I have medicare A as a former govt employee but since I live overseas it is useless as I won't return home for any medical reasons.

I hear that a lot, but I do not see greed as being any more prevalent than it ever was.

I do not care that people want to try to buy votes wither their own money, but I do not like when they try to buy votes with tax money.

Well, I have never seen any president in my life time that was as greedy as Trump is.  He is not only greedy for money but for fame too and IMHO he will be remembered as one of the worst if not worst ever.  I truly shudder when knowing he will be there for 3+ more years.

Yeah, I here that a lost as well, but I never see any evidence of it. How is Trump greedier than Obama or the Clintons?

In any event, you were claiming how greed was prevalent everywhere, but when pressed, all you can come up with is Trump, which I assume is all you ever really cared about.

Trump wants working Americans to pay less in taxes, the left wants working Americans to pay more, but I'm to believe it's Trump that's greedy.

Trump wants the border closed and illegal aliens out, which will drive up wages, and housing down for working Americans. The left wants open borders and the country flooded with illegal aliens to drive wages down and housing up, to benefit the rich, but I'm to believe it's Trump that's greedy.

Trump is rich and does not pretend he is not rich, or that he does not like being rich. You like being rich, yes? When did wanting to make money make one greedy? If a guy can throw a hundred mile an hour fastball, is he greedy for wanting ten million a year? It seems to me, that most leftists think anyone with more than them is greedy.

I like most of what Trump is doing policy wise, and I look forward to the next three years. I hope Trump gets wider margins in the House and Senate come the midterms, and I hope JD Vance runs and wins in '28.

What Trump policies make you shudder?

What Trump policies make you shudder? Greed is everywhere - look at big pharma and compare US costs with over seas look up the number of billionaires (that is with a B) created during the COVID years - in big pharma!  Now the tariffs - who do YOU think will pay for those?  the citizens and Trump and his people know that but continue lying about it.

Anyway everyone is entitled to their political beliefs and my only hope is that the country and citizens can survive.

take care

look at all the things he is selling to the Maga folks, Hats, shirts, shoes, watches, gold credit card, meals with him for big bucks - I never saw any other president selling merchandice like this.  I have no problems with closing the borders and need to change laws so that anyone coming in illegally can never get citizenship for them nor their families IMHO.  Need more judges for this acty - my wife wanted to take our daughter back to US for college - had a scholarship and acceptance but embassy said just because we had a house and car here, there was no guarantee my wife would return so they said we had to apply for a green card - same time period as Afghan close - backlog at state of over 500K and they could process about 35K a month so it took over a year for my wife's approval which by that time daughter was already in the #1 university here.  This year she is one of their exchange students for 3rd year of college in a top Korean University with a scholarship too.  She is already tested at the highest level in Korean language international test with self study only.  As for the sports people I give up on watching those as I feel they are all over paid while more deserving folks might not get as suffcient wages in necessary jobs.  Trump talks big on taxes but sure did make it nice for the richest among the citizens while driving the debt that much higher.  This shutdown is blamed on the Dems while the Rep have a majority in both houses and that big beautiful bill will take away health care for millions.

Did you not understand what I said? No, not the billionaires, they're spending their own money, it's the politicians they buy that are greedy, they are the ones spending tax money to benefit themselves.

Bullsh*t. All the candidates and both parties sell stuff. Trump is better at it. No one is compelled to buy it, people are compelled to pay taxes, and to put up with poor communities overrun with illegal aliens.

Clinton, Bush. Obama, they all sold dinners and nights in the White House and whatnot.

How soon you forget. In September 2023, Judge Engoron ruled Trump was liable for business fraud, finding he had misrepresented his wealth by hundreds of millions of dollars. Another trial was held in 2024 to determine the penalty.

In one instance, the judge found Mr Trump's financial statements had wrongly claimed that his Trump Tower penthouse was almost three times its actual size.

Have you never had a company and apply for a loan??

You list the values of your assets and submit it to the bank.

The bank then reviews and decides if the assets are valued high enough to cover the loan incase there is a default.

(Same as buying a house, the bank will only loan the amount they believe the house is worth)

In this case the banks loaned the money and it was paid back!!

So, again where was the fraud? who lost money??? all loans where paid back!

Additionally the Laws were changed in New York so they could go after Trump!

Her whole campaign was I'm going after Trump!
