I like to look at older men my age

I do NOT like to look at older men.

I prefer to look at younger girls.

What's wrong with you?

Probably, nothing.

Just a matter of tastes, I guess.

Go to the gym please do yourself a favour

Why spend money on a gym when you can do all the necessary exercises at home so easily.

Georgia, would you listen if someone told you to stop posting because it is for your own good?

A lot of guys let themselves go as they age. This is more of a problem in Pattaya then in other areas. I'm often the only one in the gym at my place, all the other guys just sit around the pool or waddle in the water while I work out.

The gym here has windows and I can see the pool area while working out. I don't really mind though since I like having the gym to myself.

I think some of it is not really having anywhere to go. If you're retired in Pattaya and in your 60's-70's there is not a lot of reason to work out (unless you enjoy it and are into yourself) because there is always someone unhealthier then you around and they don't have any future plans to move somewhere where being fit is valued.

There is also the dating factor. When they are paying for women there is no incentive be be healthy because it's all just a 'yes'.

I would never really consider asking any of them to work out though. I just figure they are set in their ways for one reason or another. I think a lot of them don't really respect themselves enough to put the work in, or that they are just too old.

Maybe

Only 22.2% of obese women and 6.7% of obese men correctly classified themselves as obese (weighted kappa: 0.45 in women and 0.31 in men). On average, normal weight women and men were reasonably accurate in their assessment of how much they would need to weigh to be classified as obese; however, obese women and men overestimated the amount. Normal weight women thought they would be obese with a BMI of 28.9 kg/m2, while obese women thought they would be obese with a BMI of 38.2 kg/m2. The estimates were 30.2 kg/m2 and 34.5 kg/m2 for normal weight and obese men, respectively

Yep, many of the people here seem "soft".

I'm not sure if it's the catering/service culture or what it is. I saw less of it when I was up in Isaan.

yeah, something like that .  But really ..... what percent of men (or women)  were really into

being active,  playing a little sport or just jogging or biking or walking ?   I've been around a long time,  and the percentage seems really low to me.

There has been so little emphasis on physical lifestyle,  all mostly replaced by the drive to get ahead financially ,  eat the easily available "fast food" (fat food),  and then play with the computer .   All addictions that lead to sedentary / lazy bodies.

Those few who do like physical stuff are slowed down as they age.   Physical aches and pains, health problems , you name it .    Sixty knocks many out of the "game", and Seventy is a real shock as the daily drug count starts going up .  ( i am a resistor, using "natural"  solutions)

How old are you ?   ......   Personally i was a good athlete when young,  and always wanted to be outside doing something.   Still can manage walking and biking .... and still love being able to get around .   It is not easy ,  once the body starts breaking down.

lighten up, dude .     humor and poking a little fun are good activities ,  though like language,

hard to learn at an advanced age,,

btw:  how old did you not say you are ?

56. I used to bike mountains though. Now it's kind of just "the gym". So I can see it slowing down. Most of the guys I'm referring to are probably about 8 years older then me. I can see not wanting to hit the gym much in another 8 years. More just a pool waddle for some circulation, maybe some stretching.

Phatties are basically disgusting people with no self respect or discipline.

Worse are the same Phatties puffing away on cigarettes when they are already 25 kg overweight.

Nah… worse is calling people Phatties. It’s a double offence - first, that desperate attempt to sound cool with contrived slang, and then the flat-out bigotry on top....
