some multi nick <deleted> that has free reign to post garbage all over the forum.

To be fair, fast food is much better here than it is back in the west. The french fries are always very hot. The meat seems a little nicer too. The service is a magnitude better.

Also, back in the west, fast food often means being surrounded by poverty types. Not so here.

Relatedly, I live near a street with three British pubs on it. The Thai food they serve is as good as a very good Thai restaurant.

Funny thread, not sure about Brits at McDonald's but it actually is better then Pad Thai which is so full of oil, carbohydrates, grease, sugar and calories a Big Mac is probably a better choice.

Many many years ago, McDonald's used to be dirt cheap.

I guess the exec decided they have enough people who are hooked who will pay higher premiums or something.

I remember one of the first we went to in Fair Lawn New Jersey in the 60's. A Big Mac was 45 cents and a regular burger was 25 cents.

Hate to hit you with the neighbor story again, but...

One of my old buddies who was a neighbor ate exclusively at foreigner oriented places. Never stepped foot in the local food market nearby which I ate at everyday.

It looks weird, but the people who do that are some of the happiest people around strangely. They don't get involved in Thai stuff and are able to act like they do back home and maintain that attitude. They don't get irritated by cultural hassles, etc. Maintaining a back home food program effects your attitude and emotional state a lot.

He was not here to really experience Thailand though, but was working taking photo's, etc. He also sat in his room with the a/c on and liked red wine here of all things (very expensive import).

He also ended up trying a prostitute because that's the only way he could get laid here. He tried his pilates instructor (who was a foreigner) but she refused after he got all horny stretching with her on the balcony.

Most i come across are fat yank salad dodgers who can polish off a tripple big Mac and a litre of coke in one go. Easy to spot most of the Sauce is down there shirt.

McDonald’s doesn’t have the fly crap all over it like the market food they have sitting out in their stalls with no running water.

I'd have a crack at a triple Big M.... not sold here unfortunately.

Spending your time in Thailand replying to every pointless response to your pointless thread.

Congratulations you aren't in McDonald's.

Not everyone go to Thailand for the same reasons as you do

I think I went to ONE bar only in my last 5 weeks in Pattaya

Some go to de-stress ,to get away from their own country, etc

some go to catch up on digital nomad work by the pool , enjoy the massages on the side ,go to the gym

It's to get away

It's about getting away to a different environment not spending time like yourself and please don't be offended but we all don't want to be in a drunken stupor spending money at Go Go bars in Pattaya

Sounds to me like you missed the point.  I would barely call McD food, much less foreign food.
