  • What i see myself is all that i believe. Which is why i find thailand expats arguing about american politics to be a bit ridiculous. Many of these europeans have never even been to the US.

  • Its not even about what they cover most of the time thats so egregious. Its about all the crap they COVERED UP during the Biden admin. Failing to report news is worse than the fake news so common toda

I am sick and tired of people throwing poop when they see a news source like Fox (biggest liars) or MSNBC (close 2nd for being liars).

Can anyone name a trusted news source that garners credibility from a majority of sensible people?

I found Reuters to be fairly fact-based and, due to its international scope, generally stays even-keeled on political issues and reports on them almost blandly.
Of course, in reading unbiased news, one may find articles that one may disagree with.  But I like my opinions challenged with new information based on factual reporting.
Of course, "disagreeing" with an article or finding it "distasteful" is not the same as being lied to.  Something I abhor.

I hear you. Im american so Biden directly affected OUR lives in a negative way. Sorry trump is not working out for non americans, i dont think thats his job

You missed his point entirely.
No one asked Trump to 'work for non-Americans.'
The point was — when Trump breaks wind, the smell doesn’t stop at the border.

Hoover’s tariffs helped trigger the Great Depression.
Bush’s deregulated dream crashed into the GFC.
And Trump?
His tariffs, deregulation, and fiscal chaos are edging the world toward the same abyss.

Biden didn’t 'affect your life' — at least not through inflation — to hurt Americans; he did it because global policy is interconnected.

History will decide whether Trump really worked out for Americans — or merely sold them the illusion of winning.

Why did you omit CNN (and every other news channel) from your liar list?   I am sick and tired of people disparaging Fox without any evidence that any of the others are any better.

AN. Everything is fake news  so you can deduct the truth.

What does that mean?  From what are you "deducting the truth"?

Fox News and Real Clear Politics

Figures...

Financial media are usually reliable for facts, as they wouldn't survive if they were not trusted for providing accurate facts.

Of course, they also publish opinion pieces about the interpretation of facts, but it's clearly presented as opinion.

You have a complaint with the news department of either organization? Please tell us what your complaint is about the news? You do know the difference between opinion and news right? You do know what an aggregator is right?

Is that another prematurely bald angry white man shouting outlet?

Fox News (as well as CNN and MSNBC) is not an accredited news station because no regulatory body exists in the United States that has the authority to make such a classification.
However, during the Dominion trial (which Fox lost) Fox's own legal defence argued that a "reasonable person" would understand that some of its hosts' statements were "loose, figurative or hyperbolic," a position that implied they were not delivering news but opinion or entertainment.

Following the Dominion lawsuit, a shareholder resolution was proposed in 2024 to require Fox Corporation to issue a report assessing the risks of its failure to clearly distinguish between its news and opinion/entertainment content.

Yes it can call itself “news” but even its own lawyers don’t like to do so.

Financial Times is refreshingly fair most of the time.

Following their lawyers "reasonable person" argument, it would suggest that these persons who consider some of the content to be "loose, figurative and hyperbolic" are NOT the same as those who think it's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. That's tantamount to an admission of the Fox fan base being sheepishly gullible. Or maybe that just applies to their more shouty believers?

Exactly the same sentiment applies to all the other commonly referenced cable news channels.

There's a really simple and obvious way to gauge whether or not an MSM source has its facts wrong:

Look to see if the opposition plays gotcha. So, when CNN gets a fact wrong, you can be sure that Fox, Newsmax and others will pile on. It works the same the reverse way too.

Apart from the misattributed post, what point are you struggling to make here? One is as bad as the other? If so, then I agree.

The OP hasn't named Fox as the only offender. He's seeking to know what source has more credibility and are there any with less bias from either side of the spectrum.

Anyway, I have already posted my go-to sources. What's yours? I don't care really but the OP does.

The Right "trust" Fox News, OAN, Newsmax, The Daily Mail/Express and GB News.

The Left "trust" CNN, MSNBC, The Guardian, BBC.

There is no news source that "everyone" can trust.

We understand the difference between facts and opinion. HBU?

Thank you. I could be a Democrat or a Socialist if I wasnt educated.

Like someone else mentioned, I like Ground News... much more unbiased than the others and even has a bias filter on each story.

Otherwise, you could just read the same story on Guardian and the Daily Mail and then settle for the middle ground between the two, as that might be okay.

Much of the media today, the presse, the online supports of thoughts... many, many are totally biased by their respective political ideologies or financial interests, or their very individual notions of what is considered politically correct  etc etc...

The best news is what you chose or not to take in, filter it, use your common sense and watch what helps your interests and not those of the world. Any anyplace that does not give you the space to express your opinion, dump it and move on. Many other places for opinions and views that are not subject to the Censor Police.
