'2000 killed in just 48 hours' by slaughtering militia

Reports indicate that the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have allegedly massacred over 2,000 civilians in El Fasher, Darfur, following their seizure of the city. Sudan's army claims the atrocities occurred over 48 hours, primarily targeting women, children, and the elderly. This incident is part of a brutal conflict between the RSF and Sudan's army, displacing 12 million people and resulting in extensive fatalities.

The RSF's takeover of El Fasher marks their control over all state capitals in Darfur. Disturbing videos, reportedly showing executions of unarmed civilians by RSF forces, have emerged. Human rights groups, including Yale University's Humanitarian Research Lab, suggest a systematic ethnic cleansing of non-Arab communities like the Fur, Zaghawa, and Berti, citing evidence of mass killings and "door-to-door clearance operations" in the city.

The European Union expressed deep concern over the violence, urging de-escalation and accountability for humanitarian and human rights violations. The UN has identified the situation as one of the worst humanitarian crises globally, with El Fasher under siege, resulting in famine and severe shortages of aid for 260,000 trapped residents, half of whom are children.

Key Takeaways

  • RSF accused of massacring over 2,000 civilians in El Fasher, Darfur.
  • Allegations of ethnic cleansing against non-Arab communities by the RSF.
  • International bodies call for de-escalation and emphasize the humanitarian crisis.

What about the heirs to the Mosely movement? The ones with the SS uniforms in the closet.

Wasn’t that one of the countries that Biden was giving MILLIONS to in aid for circumcised giraffes?

Until Musk put and end to the nonsense.

Labour now seem to be supporting Hamas. With a government as morally corrupt as the UK government is you can expect anything.

It's the Mahdi all over again

No one cares.

Palestine and Israel are the thing now days,  all else does not matter.

Don't see the protests on the streets off Europe or the USA and Australia.

Oh the mind boggles. :coffee1:

Oh look who’s immediately jumped to using this for cover behind which to excuse war crimes and crimes against humanity elsewhere.

I don't think anyone is using this to excuse October 7.

But the fact that lefties are only interested when Jews are involved has been well noted.

They are too busy with their clown sideshow “get Trump obsession” the whole world could go to hell for all they care, as long as they’re not distracted from their silly little act.

That same government, through Starmer, recently concluded another deal with that other Muslim named Tayyip Erdogan to supply fighter jets to Turkey.

Time for Keir to extend a welcome to the combatants to join us in the UK to help in achieving diversity, a nice hotel room, free everything, Come on down!

Your answer to an embarrassing fact is to claim everybody did it anyway.

UK did take in members of the SS Galician Division as they were anti soviet Ukrainians who fought on the eastern front and would have suffered greatly if taken by the Red Army.  UK also allowed some German POW's to settle along with German wives of British soldiers.

For the UK the reasons were humanitarian, for the US it was purely profit.

The Religion of Peace doing what comes natural to them.

Why isn't Donald the Peacemaker all over this one? Stopping this conflict would make him a shoe-in for a Nobel gong.

Since bleeding heart syndrome is a lefty affliction, maybe it's just good old conservative ignorance and apathy that's holding him back?

You mean notorious jew butchers and traitors who fought their own people?

Got it. Give jew butchering traitors a home because that is acceptable in your culture.

Profit is a lot cleaner.

Bet you celebrate October 7

I actually agree with you -- a great many people with no personal connection whatsoever to either Israel or Palestine are hypercritical of the Israeli state while paying no attention to equally brutal conflicts elsewhere in the world, in a manner that smacks of antisemitism.

However, you’re wrong in saying that this is a “left-wing thing”; plenty of people on the left are antisemitic, but plenty of people on the right are, too. And don’t forget that antisemitism has been a stain on humanity for two millennia, well before the concepts of “liberal” and “conservative” developed in the contexts we’re familiar with today.

And more, with respect to Darfur, I would suggest that you yourself are simply using that catastrophe as a backdrop to forward your own agenda -- namely, liberal-bashing. What do you think about Trump’s complete dismantling of USAID, which has directly led to more death and suffering in Darfur and elsewhere in Sudan? If you’re on board with that, then you are as dismissive of the plight of these brown people on the ground in Sudan as are the people you are rightly criticizing.

You are precisely that which you accuse others.

Simply pointing out the hypocrisy of the #bekind keffir wearing Palestine flag waving lefties who bang on about Gaza all the time and then not a peep from them about all the other conflicts in the world. We all know why...

How so?

There is as nothing in the OP that warranted your leap into your off topic post.

And here again you repeat your completely off topic nonsense.

You just can’t help yourself.
