We weeded out all the bread thieves and sent them down under to the Aborigines.

Hardly anyone steals bread in the UK these days.

We also sorted out the retards and the halfwits , guess where we sent them ?   Duh America of course,                            Sadly  those with the best DNA  were kidnapped by the vikings much earlier and taken to Scandinavia for breeding purposes  it was basically a social engineering programme the aim of which was to combine the vikings superior strength and aggression with the intelligence and sophistication of the British (at that time) obviously such a plan would be doomed to failure these days

You mean great, great, great Grandparents. You live in the past me thinks. Plus if it's in the blood they were sent to Australia for simple things like stealing a loaf of bread because they were hungry. Plus the DNA they had was English. In conclusion all Poms must have DNA to steal according to you. Regards Inspector Clouseau

I think you are taking this a bit too seriously,

Why wasn't he already deported after the first offense?

Probably best to put that question to the immigration authorities, I doubt anybody on this forum has a definitive answer

At least you kept the paedophiles at home.

We even allowed  Rolf Harris to retrace the journey made by his ancestors and return to the UK

That's the British sense of decency and fair play for you,

It takes a certain kind of desperation to steal small items from a store.

For some it is just like a hobby, a challenge to beat the security system, it can be quite addictive apparently,  It also takes a certain kind of skill set, which he obviously does not have

Good question, last I heard was  in the UK it is extremely unlikely to be prosecuted for shoplifting if the goods are worth less  than £200     (£ 500  if you arrived on a boat)

Well, at least this time he wasn't British... probably much to the disappointment of many on here.

A dozen Thais, yet not one is pointing at the perp.

Clearly AI-generated pics.

He thoroughly deserves the life changing experience he’s inflicted upon himself.

An unnamed Australian national has been arrested for stealing items from the Central Phuket shopping mall, marking it as his third time shoplifting at the same location. Police say the man was caught in the act following a coordinated operation between local administrative officers and regional police.

The arrest involved Kamala Subdistrict Administrative Officers (Moo 5) and the Special Operations Division of Provincial Police Region 8. Officers present included Police Sub-Lieutenant Niratsai Jongcharoenkitwattana, Police Sub-Lieutenant Chatchai NiamSuwan, and Police Sub-Lieutenant Supatchakorn Sonprasom. Authorities quickly intervened after receiving a report of suspicious behaviour inside the mall.

Items seized during the arrest included a mobile phone and football-related clothing. The suspect reportedly admitted to two previous thefts at the same mall, stating that he had stolen from the premises on separate occasions before being recognised this time. His latest attempt ended abruptly when the shop owner, who remembered him from earlier incidents, provided CCTV footage to confirm his identity and actions.

Police noted that the repeated nature of the thefts highlighted the importance of active surveillance and cooperation between mall staff and law enforcement. Local authorities praised the swift response of the officers involved, describing their coordination as effective in maintaining order and ensuring the safety of both residents and visitors in the popular tourist area.

The Australian suspect remains in custody while police conduct further investigations and prepare formal charges. Authorities have not yet released his identity but confirmed that legal proceedings will follow the law.

Do you mean that black females are arrested more often?

In America black people are not only arrested more often, but they are convicted more often, whether they are innocent or guilty.

I would say that there is too much competition because the UK is full of thieves , criminals and robbers already and he would show respect for his fellow countrymen as a good Aussie would.

It takes a certain kind of desperation to steal small items from a store. If you have to commit theft how about hacking into the financial system of an insurance company or a clmajor corporation, and stealing tens of millions?

White collar crime pays off as people are rarely arrested or jailed for these activities especially if you're a white male, and you have no prior convictions.

Really?

I think he has deeper issues and sadly doesn't own a foil hat like some others.🙃🙃
